The Kent Farm

(Clark went to visit his mom in Smallville)

(He knocked on the door to his old house and was surprised when Lois answered the door)

Clark: "Lois..?"

Lois: "Hi..hi Clark. Been a while."

Clark: "Yeah..uh what are you..?"

Lois: "Doing here? Oh your mom and I hang out sometimes. I hope that's okay."

Clark: "Oh yeah of course. Uh..is she here by any chance?"

Lois: "She went out to pick up groceries but she should be back soon. Want to..come in? We could catch up."

(Clark was tempted to come in but then he noticed the ring on Lois's hand)

Clark: "Wow..you're..engaged?"

Lois: "Oh yeah. His name's Richard. We..met last year."

Clark: "Oh..congratulations."

(Clark turned to leave)

Lois: "Wait!"

Clark: "Uh it's okay. I'll visit her later. Take care, Lois."

(He walked down the driveway, his head hung low)
