I stood in the kitchen alone, waiting for Josh to come back to help me and just how badly my arm hurt. Also how hot Josh was in person. His eyes are just... ah. I felt stupid to staring but now that I saw him clearly, my god was he gorgeous.

"Would you guys like something to drink?" I asked them from the fridge, trying to be a good host.

"Alcohol or regular drink?" Sam asked from the couch.

"Regular drink. I don't drink alcohol unless it's some event or another. Unless you still have more in the van." I told them. Sam sat up on the couch and leaned over the bar into the kitchen to see me. Jake and Danny did the same.

"Of course we do." Sam said. He turned to Jake. "Go get the cooler." Sam told Jake. Jake smiled mischievously and ran back outside for more drinks. I gulped. Am I really going to get drunk at 6 am? I suppose so. Once Jake ran back inside with the cooler, he handed me a bud light while also taking one for his own.

"Shot gun with me, baby." Jake said, talking in the Oliver Reed tone. I took the beer from his hand, grabbing a knife off the counter and popped a hole at the end, handing Jake the knife next. I never done it with a beer before. Sam did a count down.

"3, 2, 1, go!"

I opened the can and inhaled it. As Sam and Danny cheered, Josh came back into the kitchen with wide eyes and a large smile, watching in amusement.

Jake finished before I did, standing with a proud smile as he watched me finish mine off. Once I was done, I stood up and listened to the boys clap. I threw away the can and laughed.

"Thought you didn't drink?" Josh teased me, making direct eye contact. That wasn't something I enjoyed but if it's with him, I could careless. Although, making eye contact with him sometimes made my legs weak.

"I don't," I laughed. "I only know how to because I would shotgun Red Bull's before work." I chuckled. Josh cackled and clapped his hands.

"That's impressive!" Sam laughed. We all continued talking and drinking, eventually letting lose much more than I was before. All the anxiety I had before with the boys was completely gone, I was finally acting like myself.

I don't think I've ever acted like myself around anyone in a long time, considering that the older I got, the more I trusted people less, the less I hung out with anybody. There was just something about these idiots that just felt right.

I noticed Josh brought out his filming camera that you would see in the edits on Instagram, making me smile. He wanted to keep this down as a memory, and that made me want to cry.

Jake handed me another beer from the cooler and clashed his glass with mine before chugging it. I chuckled as we all watched the twin progressively get drunker.

"Is that a record player?" Josh asked me with excitement, placing down his camera onto the bar in front of Danny and heading straight for it in the corner of my living room.

It was my fathers, which is another thing I held on to. The record collection is my mothers and very few were mine. Normally I wouldn't let people touch it, In fear they would damage it but I had a little more trust in Josh than really anyone else.

"Yeah, go ahead and play something. I've got a decent selection." I said, staring at the house phone, debating whether or not I should just try myself to type the number in.

"Oh, we all have a whole collection too. It's our fathers and we would play with it all the time. We grew up with Jazz, Blues, and what else?" Josh looked up and asked his brothers.

"Folk music was one." Sam said, sitting with his legs crossed and staring at Josh.

"Rock and roll was in there a bit." Jake added while looking at Sam. The two brothers nodded in agreement.

"John Denver! Hell yeah!" Josh cheered, pulling it out of its case and playing it, his face lit up with joy. The first song to play was Take Me Home Country Roads, the classic.

I start dancing a small bit. The boys were dancing in the living room, singing loudly with pride as they relived their childhood with this song.

Josh grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him, away from the stove. I quickly put the phone down before I was too far from the counter. Grabbing my hand in his and the other on his shoulder, making me dance with him in my kitchen as he sung along sweetly. Hearing his voice in person was beautiful and practically breath taking. Oh how lucky I was.

I'll admit, it did kill my arm and hand little bit but I was not about to turn this down.
It wasn't a very romantic dance due to us both being decently drunk but it was definitely a moment I would never forget, and apparently, neither would the boys, because Danny was filming on Josh's camera.

Josh gave me a little spin before letting me go. The whole time they were here, I smiled to myself. Enjoying the moment while it lasted.

Eventually, a little time later, we finished the pizza that we finally ordered. Josh felt horrible for forgetting about helping me order it but I reassured him it was fine, which is was.

We all sat at the couch with the tv on watching some random show they liked and ate since I didn't really have a kitchen table to eat at but they didn't seem to mind.

Jake and Sam bickered over the loud tv, Josh was yelling above the both of them to get to Danny, and to butt into their conversation. I just sat back and watched it all happen, thinking about how lucky I was to have this. If Ashley didn't steal those tickets, I would not have met them, nor would I be in this situation. I spotted the camera on the bar counter above me, quickly turning it on and filming the chaos. It warmed my heart to see them all be themselves out here. I was glad I got to know them.
