The Eclipse Pillar

The Insect Pillar arrives on scene

Running even faster up the mountain, he reached his family's small wooden house. Hoping to see the demon so he could kill it to avenge his family. But what he saw scarred him for life. His family was murdered, Their blood splattered across the cloud-white snow, Their body parts were scattered around the house. Damn it! How could I have let this happen! Tanjirou cursed himself. "Oh! Nezuko's still alive, I have to take her to get healed!." With that thought, he picked Nezuko up and began running down the mountain heading for town. As he was running down the mountain Nezuko's body started twitching. "GRAHHHHHHH RAHHHHHHHHHH!" Tanjirou turned his head around to see Nezuko thrashing around on top of him. This tipped Tanjirou off balance and they both fell down the edge. Recovering from the fall, Tanjirou got up and his eyes darted around trying to find Nezuko. Once he found her he ran towards her.

"Nezuko you don't have to walk I'll carry you to town to get healed alright?" Seeing her being unresponsive he called out her name. "Nezuko!" Nezuko brought her head up and Tanjirou knew right away she was a demon. Nezuko lunged at him but he reacted just as quickly creating a staff out of flesh, effectively preventing her from biting him. "Nezuko!" "Don't do it!" Don't become a demon! he cried out, hoping his cries would reach her. That hope was thankfully correct as Nezuko started crying and she stopped trying to attack him, as she was about to go back on his back to get her healed he sensed someone coming at high speeds. He reacted by changing the staff into a shield, Stopping the attack. "Ara Ara~ Who could've guessed you would have protected that demon," the mysterious person said. "Who are you?" "And why are you here?" He asked puzzled.

I am the Insect Pillar, Shinobu kocho. As for why I'm here, it's to kill that demon girl. She answered. Tanjirou had a look of pure shock on his face. "What?!" 'A pillar?! "For a demon that isn't even a member of the Tewlve kizuki?!" Isn't that overkill?!" he exclaimed. "Yes, it is." "Even so, I must fulfill my mission," she said with a smile. "I'm sorry Shinobu-sama but I cannot allow you to kill the only family I have left." he said." Also, how do you know about the pillars? she asked. I know everything about the corps. I hope to join one day he replied. Nezuko when I attack her you run ok?" he whispered to his sister. Nezuko nodded and waited for her brother to attack. Well then were going to have to fight correctly? Shinobu asked. "yes, Yes we're going to fight". He swiftly replied. "But where's your weapon?" She asked with a head tilt. As she said that she saw him create a scythe out of his flesh. "H-how did you do that?!" she asked shocked. "I'm not explaining that right now," he said, Now let's begin. 

Without another word, the both of them got into their stances and began fighting. Eclipse Breathing, 1st Form: Eclipse Palace! He Bellowed, as he slashed at her diagonally a swirling storm of black sun blades followed his scythe. Shinobu barely managed to dodge the attack before doing a back handspring to avoid another attack he sent her way. "He knows a breathing style?!" she thought, worried. "I need to find a way to escape or beat him or else ill lose!" "I'm not built for extended fights! "This is bad". "Eclipse breathing,2nd form: Dragon rush!" He rushed at her with the black sun blades turning into a dragon. Shinobu dodged and jumped into the air. "Dance of the bee sting True flutter!" She calmly said as she attacked. Tanjirou dodged before countering her attack, badly injuring her before dashing around her and planting 8 flesh spears around her. Sorry, Shinobu-sama but this is where it ends! He said with a calm face. Eclipse Breathing,10th form: Eclipse Barrier! As Tanjirou said those words, A purplish-black barrier surrounded her." Damn it!" "He caught me!" "Sorry, Shinobu-sama but I have to go." " However, once I reach a certain distance the barrier will dissipate and you can leave." "Sayonara!" With that, Tanjirou disappeared. He followed Nezukos scent to a cave where she dug a hole to escape the sunlight. He bought some bamboo and an old basket, Fixed the basket, made a bamboo muzzle, put Nezuko in the basket, and began his way to MT. Fujikasane for final selection.

Shinobu made her way to the butterfly mansion covered in cuts from the sun blades she couldn't dodge. As she reached the gate She was met by her sisters Kanao Tsuyuri and Aoi Kanzaki. Shinobu-sama what happened?! Aoi exclaimed Shinobu opened her mouth to explain but stopped as she Fainted. Aoi took her inside to be healed while kanao was wondering who or what could have done that to her master.
