Life changes so fast, you will never know what comes around the bend. Today was the funeral, a lot of shared tears and memories long past told in aching remembrance. Never would have thought I would lose anyone else after I died and the fact that I knew they were going to die, it didn't make any difference.

But it doesn't matter, because now... I have to be strong for them keep them on the right path, to prepare them for the trials to come. And to do all that without them knowing that I know will be so hard, but I have to, to make sure everyone gets there happy ending. Even if it means I don't get mine.

Time skip - same day, after the funeral

The funeral was over, as was the wake, both Jeremy, Elena and I were emotionally exhausted and ready to go to bed. We ended up back home and wake through the door to see boxes strewn about the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Those being from both packing up Grayson and Miranda's things and unpacking my stuff to move in. The atmosphere felt so heavy it made the house seem so soulless, like no one ever lived here, like there memories made, laughs and cries shared with loved ones.

All I knew was... this was going to be a long summer.

"Jeremy!"... "Jeremy!"

I've been calling him for about five minutes and he's ignoring me, I know it's starting but I didn't think it would happen thing soon. It's been around two weeks since the funeral and Elena's just been constantly holed up in her room, blaming herself for there death. And Jeremy... he's been the worst, he has been too withdrawn and sneaking out, avoiding both me and Elena (that's when she does come out of her room). But its weird he avoids Elena more than me, I mean he still communicates with me when he needs something, but with her its nothing. It's like she doesn't even exist to him, he's fourteen and him closing out his sister is not the best thing to do.

So mentally, I've decided this was where I was going to start, to help Jeremy. With my mind start I head up the stairs and before going to Jeremy's room I go to Elena's.

"Elena, sweetie Jeremy and I are going to head out for a few hours, is that okay with you?" I asked her softly.

"Yeah, Aunt Jenna, I'll see you both later" She says, looking up from her journal from her spot by the window.

I smile at her gently and say, "Try to get out of the house today, you know, get some fresh air."

And with that I close the door and head to Jeremy's room, as I open to door, I notice he is still asleep. I simply sigh and walk towards the window to the open the curtains as I do I say loudly "Good afternoon, Jeremy"

As I though that didn't do much, so I proceed to the end of his bed and pulls the blankets off and away from him, he groans and protests with an "Jenna!"

"No, I have had enough of you lazing about or even worse sneaking out and doing god knows what. Now you are going to get up and get dressed because we are going to do something today since you have put yourself into a rut" I state sternly, using my authority figure voice. "And don't think I won't pour a bucket of water on you if you get up."

"Fine! Fine, I'm getting up" he say grumpily, from being woken abruptly. "Get out so I can get changed."
