Lena's world was only black and white, she couldn't even bare the thought of her having a soulmate. She felt like she was a Mafia goddess in her days, dealing anything known to man from drugs to help the sick and weapons to the military they have. The way her father disowned her and brought her to this world and that planet spoke for itself. The primitive savage ways of the humans didn't suit Lena well enough to be known for more. She might live with heros but she isn't ever considered one, she is the assistant's of heros and yet she had only one power that was left for her by her father. She maybe a Goddess but in their eyes, she was only human that was weak and frail and in need of protecting her, small nature. She found herself in the middle of a civil war that was between Tony and Steve, her oldest friend she was outside of the car with Sharon her friend her colorless sight not feeling right. She just stood by Sharon and Steve who was talking while she heard her name, she looked at him but not in the eyes since it was hard for her either way. She saw some guys in the car who was Sam and Bucky but never made eye contact with either of them.
"Hey Lena what's the color of my shirt?"
He chuckles softly and wanted her to look into his eyes for once he wanted to see color the same way he felt about her deep down.
"Haha, very funny Rogers I'm not falling for that and where's Sam?"
She looked at Sharon who was already seeing color since Sam was her soulmates.
"He's in the car with Bucky."
He still didn't leave his eyes off her not even for one second. He was so in love with her either way but he never knew how to tell her but if she only looked into his eyes he would finally know the truth if he would be able to see color. She looked into the car and made eye contact with Bucky and her vision became colorful which overwhelmed her.
"Wait who is Sam's soulmate again?" She asked confusedly
"Sharon, why?" He was confused by her tone of voice now, she kept eye contact with Bucky.
"Also your shirt is grey." She spoke biting her lip softly
Steve realised what just happened and his heart dropped, the love of his life is soulmate to his best friend.
