Lena is the very youngest child of three older siblings. Axel, Arwon, and Anihal, her sister. She was the runt of the linter her oldest who is 8 years older than her which she came along the nickname Lex, the second born her brother of 6 years difference, she has gave him the nickname of Kobey, while her older sister of 5 years in age difference was given the nickname of Halin. Lena was always teased by her brothers, she wasn't bothered by it ever she loved it really. But when her sister Halin would tease her about her liking someone she'd get all rude and snappy about it and leave randomly. She was not one of her favorite people ever, Halin always got the guys to like her and they were all over her in fact which made Lena even more jealous since she was dirty blonde and beautiful but never got anyone's attention, rather yet she didn't even try to look since she left like an outsider, but she even looked like a beautiful model. She didn't look like any of her siblings but she looked like her mom. Her mom passed away from a horrible death she was poisoned. She loved her family even if they barely had time for her even yet ever saw her. She felt more like a liability and distraction from the kingdom ever.
Lena sat in her bed reading a book while her best friend Annalise came in without a notice. She got onto the bed crawling over the Lena while Lena didn't even bother to know who it was or cared she was engrossed into her novel about the world called Earth and how they survive and live.
"Babygirl what are you reading?" Annalise asked her getting in between her legs and interupted her reading session by popping her head in between Lena book and chest where her head slightly rested since there was a small space for Anna to slip in under.
"Anna baby, it's a novel about Earth and other universes." Lena kisses her forehead while she placed the book down on the bed and moved to be on top of Annalise to just make her giggle which in doing so happened while she sat up and hugged her best friend tightly, she kisses her cheek many times before pulling away from the hug they shared.
"Are you ever gonna be ready for the ball?" Anna asked Lena with puppy eyes to go.
"I don't think I'm gonna go." She sighed softly "I do have my ball gown dress but all I know that no one is gonna pay any attention ever like always they all go after Halin." She shakes her head soft, light tears welling in the corner of her eyes.
"Babygirl you are not alone okay I'm here you know that I am." Anna held her cheek kissing her forehead then nose then lips by accident.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that, I have to go." Annalise left her room in a rush where Lena was still shocked by the kiss and it was her best friend that gave her it, her first kiss ever. She didn't know how to react about the kiss but she touched her lips with a huge smile and pushed the thoughts aside but knew if she ever did this she would be bannished or yet whipped for this. She pushed hair behind her ear and just sat on her bed debating to go or not. She finally got up fixing her sundress while she called her nurses to help her into her gown for the evening celebration.
"Miss Monroe, you doing okay my dear?" One of the nurses asked her with a smile
"Oh yeah I'm alright Delores, I am honestly in shock that Annalise just kissed me and it was my first kiss too." She spoke softly with a smile
"Miss you know I have to tell your father you did this, it is against our law to be with a woman but it was only a kiss and who knows what will happen really, I am sorry to bring this to you ever." Delores kisses her temple and fixed her navy blue gown for Oberon to arrive for her big sister's promotion from being head of communication, to the head of the Marshall law and institute, Lena's older brothers were always with Halin never leaving her side. They were different from Lena they were all dark haired, tan skin, tall beautiful in ever way possible.
"Delores it is okay really come what may and I'm stronger than you think." Lena nodded her head while Delores was talking to another in a different language which she knew but she made her own language from the rest her best friend and a few others knew, they would do secretive stuff behind the godkings back to be rebellious.
"It is passed along, I am sorry." Delores walks out of the room with Lena behind her.
Lena walks down the empty hallway down to the ballroom where she was an hour late to the ceremony while all eyes were on her now.
"Eveyone I present to you Lena my youngest daughter and our new goddess of the Moon and Sun." King Anivse boomed to everyone who clapped and bowed towards her, she got her sisters title.
One of the servants came to his aid he was madly drunk.
"My King you need to get to bed." They spoke Lena heard them, while everyone left the room too go on about their evening and give the royals some peace.
"No let me see my youngest please." He was stubborn like her one thing in common at least, he walked to her with a bright white smile looking at her.
"You look a lot like your mother." He slowly touched her cheek then gripped her cheek angrily now. "I heard you got kissed by a woman?" He didn't like this notion, the only reason why he got drunk.
"Yes my king." She held his wrists but she wasn't in any pain but knew the consequences of her own actions, right when she was let go some guards came in with Annalise not hurt but restrained.
"My king Anivse." Anna bowed her head.
Lena got restrained also and brought to a very cold pillar where her beautiful navy blue dress was ripped away from her body exposing her pale back.
"Lena I am sorry but thirty lashes is the punishment you have to deal with and if this goes on more, I don't have a chose to banish you after." Her father was right behind her making Annalise watch her get whipped lashed nearly to death. The guard taking out the whiplash, striking Lena's back hard, with hearing the snap along with the slight pain on her back, she merely grunted hard while she got hit 7 more time before it felt like her skin was being ripped open making her yell out finally making Anna cry out for them to stop but they didn't listen to her but kept whipping Lena's back for this notion.
