Brittany's POV

We just pulled up in front of Santana's house and got out of the car. Once I saw her house, my jaw literally hit the floor. Like, do you know those pictures you see in comic books when that happens? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I looked like that. It's huge! Like, not just big but enormous! Santana walked towards the door and opened it with her key. She turned around and smirked at the sight of me.

"You coming?" She asked sounding amused. I quickly closed my mouth, nodded and quickly walked towards her. When we walked in, the house looked even bigger than I expected. On the walls were a lot of pictures of Santana; pictures of her as a little kid and pictures of her now. I walked towards them and observed each one of them.

"You were really cute when you were little." I said and smiled. "Um... I mean, not that you're not cute now! Umm..." I stuttered a little. She chuckled, which made me blush, and grabbed my hand, making me blush even more.

"Thank you, but let's go get something to drink in the kitchen. I think my mom's in there too." She said and dragged me over to the kitchen. And indeed, her mom was there.

"Hola Santana! How was school?" Her mom asked when we walked in.

"Hola Mami." Santana said and kissed her mom on the cheek. "School was fine. I want you to meet Brittany, she's a member of the club I joined today, the Glee Club." She said with a smile on her face and pulled me forward. I put my hand out for her mom to shake but instead she just pulled me in to a hug, which I awkwardly accepted.

"Um, Hi, I'm Brittany S. Pierce." I said when she pulled away and smiled a little.

"Hello Brittany, I'm Maribel Lopez, Santana's mother." She said kindly and smiled back. "Would you girls like something to drink?" Mrs. Lopez asked us. Santana nodded and her mother gave us two glasses of coke.

"Wanna go to my room Britt?" Santana asked with a grin on her face. I nodded and smiled back.

"Yeah sure!" I quickly responded. She motioned for me to follow her and walked out of the kitchen, up the stairs. When we walked into her room I was once again surprised by the size of it.

"Wow, Santana, your house is huge!" I said and walked around her room, looking at some posters of singers and some pictures of her and others. I heard her chuckle.

"Yeah, my dad's a lawyer, so he makes a lot of money." She said and smiled at me.

Santana's POV

Brittany looked so surprised when she walked into my room; it was the cutest thing ever! I watched her with a look of adoration on my face as she walked through my room and looked at everything on my walls. When she turned around I smiled at her and sat down on the loveseat in the corner of my room. I gestured for her to sit down next to me, so she did. We both drank our cokes and then we decided to listen to some music. We were both singing along to Ellie Goulding's Burn and I was amazed by her beautiful voice. I sometimes listened to the Glee club perform without them noticing, before I joined, and Brittany never had any solos. I really don't understand why they wouldn't give her anything to sing.

"Hey Britt?" I asked when the song ended.

"Yeah Santana?" She answered with a small smile on her face.

"Well, I was just wondering, why do you never get solos in Glee club?" I asked. She looked at me with questioning eyes. "I heard you guys perform some times and you never sang any solos but you have an amazing voice, so I was just wondering." I explained and waited for an answer. She thought about it and said;

"I honestly don't know, we have a lot of fun, but you're right. I almost never get any solos. I have no idea why, actually." She looked like she was still deeply thinking about it, so I grabbed her arm. She looked at me and stared into my eyes. After a while I looked down to my lap, before leaning in and doing something I could regret later.

"Well, tomorrow at school, we're going to change that, Britt." I told her and looked up with a grin on my face.

"Really? Thanks Santana!" She said and quickly hugged me. I hugged back and laughed a little.

"That's alright, Britt." I responded and breathed in her scent. She smells amazing. She's really beautiful too, and she fits in my arms so nicely. I wonder if she- Wait! I can't start thinking like this! Not with her, she's one of my first real friends. I took a deep breath and pulled away. "How about some more music?" I asked with a grin and turned on the next song, Anything Could Happen – also by Ellie Goulding. Well, isn't that right. Anything Could Happen.
