The lavender-eyed boy blinked in confusion at the brown-eyed boy that stood before him with a regretful look in his eye as he looked around the barrier gates of the compound. "Shes..out..?" the brown-eyed boy questioned Neji, who sighed as she brought a hand up to his forehead out of annoyance. "Yes, what was your name again? And..I will let her know that you stopped by.."
The boy blinked as he thought it over, did he really want to expose his random presence at her living quarters like this? To her brother at that? He looked down at the card he had kept for too many years to count in his hand, clutching onto it as he sighed out. "Shikamaru. but you don't have to tell her..I'll just find her when she's back in the village.." and before Neji could respond, the Nara walked off, mumbling out his usual line of 'what a drag' as he walked back to the inner skirts of Konoha.
He grew anxious as time passed and he still had that damn card in his possession. Wondering how long would he have it before he finally grew the courage again to approach her again and hand it to her. Admittedly, Shikamaru couldn't remember what he wrote on it, he just didn't want to see it anymore — and whatever [Name]'s response might be to it, he didn't care he just didn't want to see the card anymore.
The team's formations a few months before had profusely determined him to rid of the card, seeing as he never saw much of [Name] anymore and it annoyingly nagged at him. Shikamaru disliked this prolonging feeling of feels, especially when it caused him to lose so much focus.

Tsunami raised an eyebrow at the sudden yell as she looked out a window from the house out into the backyard, to see the team bickering with each other and Naruto on the floor. "That doesn't mean slap him..!" she slightly slapped the boy's wrist before letting it go, Sasuke quietly 'ow'ed' at the wince of pain before glaring at the two. Helping the Uzumaki up from the ground, she examined the redness of his face from the slap. Before squinting over to the Uchiha again, shaking her head in response. "Now.." then she yawned from the lack of sleep she got within the early hours of the morning from her classified nightmare. "Where the hell is Kakashi..."
