No one in the class knows about Marinette's secret except one person. That person is Nino.
Nino Lahiffe, Marinette's best friend since childhood and her bodyguard. His real name is Zhaohui, which translates to Nicholas, which is where his undercover name, Nino, comes from.
Marinette and Nino have been trained with the best tutors and such in both physical and mental categories.
They have continued to do their training and such as after school activities.
The reason Marinette and Nino had to move was because of threats sent to Zhi Ruo from a terrorist group. Now Marinette lives with her aunt and uncle, Tikki and Plagg while Nino lives with his aunt and uncle. Both aunts and uncles act as their parents though.
