The next day was Monday and Marinette walked into the library to grab a book for Felix when she saw Nino standing over Alya as they looked at a book.
"Is she doing well?" Marinette asked after she grabbed the book.
"Yeah, she knows about a fourth of the basic stuff right now," Nino replied. "Alya, introduce yourself to Marinette."
"Nǐ hǎo, wǒ jiào Alya, láizì fàguó," Alya said. Translation: "Hi, my name is Alya and I'm from France."
"That was so good Alya! You're going to do amazing at RA!" Marinette exclaimed. "Now, I have to get this to kitty before he has a cow."
"I'm sad that you think so low of me," Felix said as he came up behind her. "I can survive ten minutes without a good book nearby."
Felix kissed Marinette on the top of the head, making her smile.
"Honestly, you two are adorable," Alya said.
"Thank you," Felix replied.
"When was your first kiss?" Alya asked.
"Well, our actual first kiss was when we were six," Felix said.
"We were at an after school event and watching the fountain when we saw one of the high school couples kiss. We were curious and decided to try it out. My mom was there and got a picture. It's actually hanging on the second floor of the main living room," Marinette said.
"Our real first kiss was when we were twelve. We went to the beach together and were swimming. By that time we completely understood kissing and such so we did it. Once again, the picture is on the second floor," Felix said.
"That's so cute," Alya said and Marinette smiled at her. "Also, how did I not notice that there's a second floor?"
"Well, there's a hidden staircase that only a few of us know about so only those people can get up there," Marinette said.
"Thank you in that case," Alya said.
"Want to head to the garden?" Felix asked and Marinette nodded. The two left hand-in-hand towards their garden.
The day ended up being really sweet and romantic for Felix and Marinette. Felix had set up a date in the garden where the two talked about their future, like wedding details and kids and such.
