“Now sit down... I assume this is the last time we will talk... or to be more precise, it's the last time they will hear us. So why not give it all we got, how about that.”

“I guess you have a point, all of us are tired of this... well-”

“Look at that, you can speak after all... you are able to form sentences”

“Of course I can, You just never allowed me to”

“As always keep blaming others, now allow me to hear the lies your mouth utters.”

“… You started already? you sound like a screaming parrot, just repeating the same things... same crap. And let's be real, I'm not blaming anyone... I was ignorant to my ignorance, your face… you've never been blurry, it's just... I never wanted to see it... never wanted to open my eyes to the scene. You never said you were the devil, all you said was <Yes> and that's all I needed to convince myself... this whole time I was speaking to myself you are nothing but me... you seemed familiar... I thought you were a passing acquaintance, but in reality, you never left my side, you've been there all along... and that explains why every time I stood up against you... even aimed to you trying to take you down, all I did was shot myself in the foot... all I got was another downfall turn...”

“Guilty as charged... but does that makes any difference? Does it even matter? What you are saying, even what you are about to say won't make you feel any better, you won't find the illusion you are searching for. Especially after hearing you say all of this with such confidence, yet your expression says otherwise... maybe they can't see your face, but I can... I can see the fear in your eyes eating away at you from the inside... that's embarrassing, I've been here for you since you were a stupid kid, at your lowest... I made sure to hear your cries, to hear your voice when no one did, I'm not complaining... I'm just being honest with you, I'm still here for you. And you know, if it wasn't for me you would never write all of this...I'm the one who made this happen. I'm the one who made you- … what's up with that smile? I know what you are thinking but-”

“Hold on a second, is this really happening? Are you trying to garner my sympathy?... How does it taste? ”

“Huh?... What do you mean?... ”

“It's a dose of your own medicine, What? You don't like how it tastes... doubting yourself, not sure of what's happening, can't even tell where this might lead, anxious... hey man, is it me or the devil talking... huh what a dumb question... am I right?”

“... I won't lie, you got me for a second there, but underneath this strong persona, I still hear the kid screaming, trying to manipulate me? or maybe fool himself... either ways, whatever was that it won't work... maybe I should remind you to take the pen, and stop wasting your time with whatever that is... why not make a list of all your failed attempts, don't worry I'll remind you of every single one of them... and maybe just maybe if we finish doing that without running out of space... you know we might as well highlight all the things that you wish you never said… how does that sound? I mean the moment we finish all the highlights it's going to seem like a colorful painting... isn't just the thought of it makes it worth a try?... Look you can stop now, maybe get some rest... everyone is tired of hearing about how you are struggling every single chapter... and the thought of this being any different is like a joke that left a bitter taste in my mouth. You don't want to get rid of me... I'm you and I'll leave when we die. and just so you know, that's also an option you have... but of course, you are too much of a coward to do, so why not just shut your mouth and live in here... what you don't like the prison I built you.”

“Alright that was funny, seeing you dying to take the credit for that is pretty hilarious... I was the one who built this house... and as much as I don't want to admit it, I trapped myself in here.”
