[Wilbur's POV]

I took a while to process the message. When I did, my eyes widened.

"Wait, what?" I look up at them. I couldn't quite tell, but it looked like they were blushing profusely. They didn't answer. I looked back down at the message.

"I, uh." They mumbled. My eyes shot up.

"You, uh. Like me?" I asked, slowly putting my phone down. They didn't answer.

"Do you?" I asked again. They nodded. I didn't know how to respond. It was all kind of sudden..

[Y/N's POV]

My heart was racing. My voice caught in my throat. I couldn't speak, I was too busy trying to compose myself. I guess it was kind of sudden, and I should've confessed some other way, but, the moment just seemed so perfect. Another breeze came just in time. The moment felt magical in a sense. We both fell silent. The world fell silent with us. I looked up at him as he took a breath, like he was about to say something. Probably a rejection.

"Y/N." He started to speak. I braced myself for it.

"I feel the same way."

My eyes widen slightly, my mouth slightly agape. No words came out. I didn't know how to react. We stared at each other. It seemed like a cliché confession. Not that I was complaining.

"Oh." I muttered. I really didn't know how to respond either.

"What do people do after a confession?" He asked quietly. I shrugged.

"It's kind of awkward, isn't it?" I snicker.

"Yeah, it really is." He laughed. I sighed.

"It feels good to get it out of my chest though." I look at his curls. He hummed in agreement. He got his phone and started typing.

"What are you typing?" I asked.

"I'm googling what to do after a confession." He replied softly. I snickered.

"Really?" I asked. He showed me his phone, and yeah, he was googling what to do after a confession. I laughed more. He laughed too, moving the curls away from his face.

"Do you mind if I actually play some music right now?" I asked, turning to my computer.

"Sudden question, but no, not at all. It's your house after all." He replied. I did a quick search and started to play 'Just the two of us'.

"Really? This song." He chuckled.

"Yeah. It's like we're the only ones in the world right now anyway." I gave him a half smile. He smiled back. I hummed to the song.

"It really is a good song." He muttered. I nod.

"Oh wait, I'll be right back." He rushed out of the room before I could ask where he'd be going. He came back quickly with his guitar. He only slowed down when he got to my room. He sat beside me, he cleared his throat before playing with the song. He sung the lyrics in a way that I can't explain. Butterflies erupt from my stomach. This felt really special. A moment that made me want to stop time and stay in it forever.
