Makoto PoV:

I woke to the sound of Mizuki crying. The baby monitor was blaring in Byakuya and my own ears. "Gngh..I'll go check on her," "I can go baby, you're so tired. Go back to bed," I didn't want Byakuya to go, he was tired and had a big day today. "No it's OK, I'll be right back." I groaned as I stood up and walked upstairs to her room. As I walked in, she was still crying up a storm. I walked to her crib and picked her up. "Shhh..it's OK baby. Daddy's here, you're safe." I gently rocked her in my arms, and brought her over to the rocking chair in the corner of her nursery. I sat down and began to rock back and forth, in hopes of calming her down. I hummed a soothing song, as she let out a content sigh. Her crying soon seized, with some tears falling down her soft cheeks. She fell asleep and I got up to put her back into the crib. I kissed her head, and gently placed the blanket over her. "Goodnight angle, daddy and papa love you very much," As I turned to leave and go back to my shared bedroom, a certain blonde stood leaning on the doorframe.

Byakuya PoV:

Makoto and I woke up to the screeching sounds of the baby monitor. Our baby girl was crying at the top of her lungs. "Gngh..I'll go check on her," Makoto said, but I really didn't want him to go, he was obviously tired. "I can go baby, you're so tired. Go back to bed," I was about to get up when my loving husband spoke, "No it's OK, I'll be right back," Makoto got off the bed and walked to our daughters room. After I knew he was downstairs, I got up, put my glasses on, and walked downstairs myself. When I reached our baby's room, and saw my beautiful brown haired husband, I couldn't help but admire the way he cared for her. Makoto loved Mizuki with all his heart. From day one, Makoto showed so much admiration for our daughter, and it makes me content knowing my soulmate loved our child. Makoto brought Mizuki to the rocking chair in her nursery and began rocking her to help her fall asleep again. He began humming to her, which was so adorable as she calmed down to the tune. Soon, our baby calmed down and he gently placed her down in her crib, and placed her cozy blanket on top of her tiny form. He turned around to walk downstairs, but obviously saw me standing in the doorway.

"What are you doing? I told you to go back to sleep, bubs." "I know, but I wasn't going to let you stay awake with myself asleep, we're in this together." I walked a couple steps to him and wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him in for a kiss. He kissed back, it was slow but full of passion and love. He lasted a little while and we pulled away.

We walked back to our room and climbed in bed, waiting for us to fall in deep slumber. I pulled Makoto closer to my chest, and hugged his lower abdomen. I kissed the top of his head and whispered, "I love you baby," "I love you too bubs."

~Time skip to the morning~

Still in Byakuya's PoV:

Mizuki slept through the rest of the night with no interuptions. I looked over to see a sleeping Makoto. I smiled to myself, grabbed my glasses, and got up to change our baby. I walked downstairs to see Mizuki awake, laying down. I picked her up and put her on the changing table. I changed her diaper and put a new onesie on her which was lavender with little daisies on it. I put on some white socks ruffles around the edges. I picked her up and carried her to the kitchen to make her a bottle. I sat her in the high chair, and began to make her breakfast. When I was done, I tested it to make sure it wasn't too hot and opened the tray of the high chair to pick her up. I brought her to the living room, and sat down on the couch to feed her. I gently pushed the tip of the bottle into her mouth and she began suckling the milk. She closed her eyes as she enjoyed the sweet milk flow into her tiny mouth. She was my everything, and I will love her forever.

Makotos PoV:

I started shifting in bed as I started to wake up. I was cold so I tried scooting towards Byakuya for warmth but he wasn't there. 'He must have left to get Mizuki,' I thought and rubbed my eyes as I left our room. I walked into the living room and saw my handsome husband feeding our daughter. I walked over to them and sat beside Byakuya and nuzzled the side of my head into his right arm. "Well good morning beautiful," Byakuya said, and kissed my head carefully. "Good morning cutie," I nuzzled into his arm again as he continued to feed Mizuki. Byakuya had a few meetings starting this afternoon, which gave Mizuki and I some time to spend with each other. I loved our girl, she was my entire life and I would do anything for her.

Mizuki finished her bottle, and Byakuya began to pat her back to help her burp. When he was done, he laid her on the couch and began blowing into her stomach to make funny noises. She was giggling a lot, which was so adorable! She had the cutest laugh ever, and I was so happy to be her daddy.

~ Time skip to during Byakuya's meetings ~

With Byakuya in some online meetings, I got to spend some time with our baby. I mostly cuddled her, and fed her but I still enjoyed being with her. She was so cute; she had my brown hair and Byakuyas beautiful turquoise eyes. (a/n Ik all babies are born with blue eyes, but still haha) I checked my phone to see what time it was. '5:47' It read, and went to the kitchen to get some jarred food and a bottle for Mizuki. I prepared her food and sat her down in the high chair and began feeding her. "I love you my little girl,"

Byakuyas PoV:

I finished up with my last meeting and looked at the time in the right corner of my laptop. '6:26' It read. I turned off the laptop and left my office, and went downstairs to hangout with my little family.

Makoto was lying down on the couch with Mizuki on top of his stomach, patting her bottom gently. She was suckling on a light blue pacifier. I made my way over to the two of them, and sat behind Makoto's head. I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed his nose. "Hello bubs," He said as he slowly sat up not to disturb the sleepy baby, "How were the meetings?" "Tiring. I can't wait to sleep tonight. Can I possibly get some Makoto cuddles?" I asked, exaggerating the 's' sound and moving over to lean on his shoulder. He chuckled, "Of course you can, you deserve cuddles." I smiled at him and planted a kiss on his lips. Mizuki yawned and nuzzled her little head into her daddy's stomach. I chuckled at her cuteness and shifted all of us so Makoto and I were laying beside each other, with Mizuki on top of us. Makoto's head was resting in the crook of my neck, and lightly kissed shoulder. Our little family was the best thing in my life, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
