Authors note
Hi everyone this is my 2nd fanfic ever I'm not sure how good it's only the first chapter I hope you like it.
I just wanted to tell you all that Indianna calls Deacon Sargent Kay at first because she isn't on a team yet and she isn't sure about what to call deac at first, and some chapters will be written in POV's and some won't be I hope you like it and feel free to give me ideas about what to write, this fan fiction won't just be about Indi but the whole team. Hope you like it.

Indianna's POV
This is so cool I'm finally in S.W.A.T. head quarters there are so many skilled men and women in this building and I learned from one of LAPD'S best Sargent Kay ,I worked so hard to get here I just needed to absorb it. This moment is better than I could have ever imagined it would a the other newbies are so happy smiles on faces as we look in awe at this building. A thought occurred to me, are men and women treated equally here at S.W.A.T would I have to work my ass off to be taken seriously like I did in the academy? I worked way to hard to give up now. I've over come so much sexism and yes I'm not the most liked person at the academy, but you can't blame me standing up for what I think is right , even if standing up for myself and what I believe in means making a few enemy's I'm ok with that, I didn't come here to be liked I came here to make a difference. Making a difference isn't easy when when you share a last name with your older brother who's a respected member of S.W.A.T's 20 David squad.

*Flashback to first day at the academy*
"Indianna like the state?" Sargent Kay asked me with a wide smile.
"Yes sir but spelt slightly different." I replied. With a smile.
" What's your last name Indianna you didn't write it on your enlistment sheet?" Sargent Kay asked me. I dont tell people what my last name is out of fear of being stuck in my brother's shadow, my whole life I've felt that way.

"Street." I replied looking down at the floor. I HATE being compared to Jimmy James but I could tell that Sargent Kay could see that.
"Uh I see." He said. Looking at me.
"Can I go now?" I asked a little impatient?
"Yes you can and Indianna?" He asked.
" Yes sir?" I said turning around to face him.
" For what it's worth good luck in this programme." He reassured me. I just nodded and walked off.
*End of flashback*

"New officers it's time you got to meet your team members." Sargent Kay explained.
