Deac POV

'Well Indi I've been at SWAT for about 15 years now" I informed her. She nodded.

"I love this country I love these people." I kept talking.

Indi looked super distracted when another officer walked in.

Indi POV

I was listening to Deac talk about 10 years or something at SWAT when I saw Officer Aaron Brown. Ew I hate that guy, When I was in the academy he would go out of his way to make me miserable, when I was in that place him and his boys club, used to take the sanitary bin out of the women's bathroom, so we us girl's had to walk around with used products in our hands, but what he did was next level bad, I was at the gun range and I had loaded up the shot and then Aaron came up behind me and flicked my the elastic of my bra, that made me turn around and I slammed my elbow into his nose. Sargent Kay doesn't see things but when he does it makes it so much worse he makes a huge deal about it makes the boys think us girls are weak. The worse part is when the other girls tried to stand up for each other the boys say something stupid like "It's just a joke." I was very close to quitting because I wasn't being judged by my skill rather my gender. When I heard Chris Alanso got in i figured I could too. Nora was really nice, I started around the same time as her, like I said Work Mom.

"INDI you ok?" Tan asked concern spreading across his face.

"Hm yeah sorry." I smiled at him he didn't interrogate further.

Our phones simultaneously buzzed up to the office Hicks wants us.

I walked to his office, Deac came beside me.

"Indi you sure your ok?" Decon was worried .

"Deac I swear on my life I am fine." I smiled, he nodded and walked ahead.

"Uh 20 Squad today you have a patrol day a new recruit will be rolling with you today." Hicks gestured to a guy standing in the corner.

"Hi 20 squad Sargent's Harrleson and Deacon" He nodded I crossed my arms I had to do the next mission with him? Officer Brown. He proceeded to shake hands with everyone, they all greeted him warmly. Then he got to me.

"Officer?" Seriously he's pretending he doesn't know me.

"Street." I replied not shaking his hand, he looked offended. I crossed my arms.

"Wait Street oh are you two you know?" He asked gesturing to his ring finger.

"EW NO." Jimmy James and I both gagged,

"He's my brother." I pointed out. Jimmy burst out laughing.

"As fun as this whole thing is you better get a wriggle on." Hicks said we all left and got in Black betty. Aaron was in my spot I usually sit next to Tan and Hondo but now there was an un even amount.

" Indi you're up front with me." Luca patted the passenger seat I got in.

"Hey how come she gets to sit up front?" Tan whined jokingly.

"Because If something happens to me then I want to know Betty will be in safe hands." Luca laughed.

"Wait your going to teach me how to drive Betty?" I was shocked it was honour.

"Yup Deac told me that you had the fastest on training day." Luca said.

"I wasn't going that fast." I lied.

"Oh please" Chris chimed in from next to Street.

"What?" I smiled at her. She leaned over the seat and whispered in my ear.

"SWAT needs more badasses." She whispered and sat back down. She stood up while Luca was moving.

Street smiled at her

I got the full talk about how to move Betty properly...

LUCA POV

"Hey Luca can I talk to you?" Deac came to talk.

"What's up?" I smiled at him.

"The guy rolling with us gave Indi hell at the academy I need you too look out for her." Deacon smiled.

"Ooh Mr Christan said the H word." I teased.

"Look man this is serious, will you do it?" He asked

"Of course look out for little sister number 2" I smiled.

"Thanks man." He pulled me into a hug.

Oh Poor Indi this is the least I could do.

"This is the siren Indi you want to turn it on?" I looked at her briefly.

"Wait Really I feel like I kid at a Cop convention." she pressed it. The siren Blared the other guy in the back rolled his eyes he and I were gonna have words after this.

Aaron POV

No way Indi Street actually got in? She seemed to be making friends with the Swat team, it's because of her I am only starting now, I got held back until my disciplinary issues got resolved. But now sitting in black betty and me seeing how happy she is, makes me feel something, but what?

Chris POV (still in Black Betty)

This Aaron guy reminds me of those guys who pulled practical jokes on me, I am very proud of Indi being so mature about this situation. I stared at him as he stared at Indi fire in his eyes. It was quiet out back where we were. Until Hondo broke the silence.

Hondo POV

Ok so I had to do something about this horrible silence and fast because it was getting ridiculous.

"We will be there soon." Saying this made everyone look up at me. I had their full attention.

"Ok you 4 are going on the 3-4 side of the park, its a patrol day remember, make sure you press the button when you need to talk." Hondo gave his orders.

"Yes sir." Street spoke, Indi nodded, Chris crossed her arms and Tan laughed.

"Deac, Luca , Aaron you're with me. " They all just nodded.

"We are here" Indi announced.

"Alright team you hear the lady, lets roll out."
