Angry (Chapter 28)

Sid's fists clenched when he heard about why Jai hid it, and went out. His anger on Jaineet's parents kept increasing. Unfortunately, Avu bumped into him. 

Avu: Itne ghusse mein kyu ho? ( Why do you look so angry?)

Seeing her reminded more of her being engaged to a boy, who wasn't at fault, but was turned into a monster, by her own parents. 

Sid: Aisa kuch nahi hai. ( There is nothing like that.)

Avu: Sid kuch toh hua hai, itna ghussa kabhi nahi dekha hai tumhe. ( Sid something has happened, I have never seen you so angry.)

Sid: Avi, bola na kuch nahi hua hai. ( Avi, I said right nothing happened.)

Avu: Thik hai. Par... ( Ok. But...)

Sid: EK BAAR MEIN SAMAJH NAHI AATI BAAT? ( CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND AT ONCE?)

He shouted loosing his temper and immediately regretted. He was about to apologise, but she spoke in between. 

Avu: Sorry, mai bas bol rahi thi tumhara haat jal gaya hai, uspar masala bhi gira hua hai. ( Sorry, I was just saying that your had has burned, even spices have fallen on it.)

Sid: Sorry Avu, mai chillana nahi chahta tha, woh mai ghusse mein tha. ( Sorry Avu, I didn't mean to shout, I was angry.)

But she was upset as no one had ever shouted on her. Sid noticed this. 

Sid: Avu, pls sorry na, mai chillana nahi chahta tha. Woh galti se ho gaya. ( Avu, pls sorry na, I didn't want to shout. It was by mistake.)

Avu: Pehle batao, itne ghusse mein kyu the? ( First tell me, why were you so angry?)

Sid: Woh mai nahi bata sakta. ( I can't say that.)

Avu: Toh mai bhi maaf nahi kar sakti. Haat saaf karke uspar kuch laga lo. ( Then I also can't forgive you. Clean your hand and apply something.)

She was about to go but Sid held her wrist, pulling her towards him, and she collided with his chest. She tried getting out of his grip but couldn't. 

Sid: Avi, sorry na, please. 

Avu: Mujhe tumse kuch baat nahi karni. ( I don't want to talk to you.)

Sid: Par Avu, sorry bola na. ( But Avu, I said sorry right.)

Avu: Aur maine bola mujhe tumse baat nahi karni. ( And I said I don't want to talk to you.)

Jai: Kya ho raha hai? ( What is going on?)

Avu: Kuch bhi nahi. Sid, mujhe chod. ( Nothing. Sid, leave me.)

Sid sighed in defeat and let her go, and she went from there. 

Sid: Naraaz hai. ( She is upset.)

Jai: Kyu? ( Why?)

Sid said him the reason. 

Jai: Koyi ni, maan jayegi, chal. ( Don't worry, she'll forgive you, come.)

Sid was surprised that Jai didn't ask why is he angry, but let it be. 

Sid: Jai, tujhe pata hai woh marks kaise aaye? ( Jai, do you know how did those marks come?)

Jai: Nahi, bas itna pata hai ki bachpan se hai. Mujhe koyi orphanage mein chodkar gaya tha tab bhi the, bas aur bhi zyada bure the, yeh mujhe un aunty ne bataya tha, jo ek hi achi jan thi waha. Wahi mera dhyaan rakhti thi, par phir woh guzar gayi. ( No, just know that it is there since childhood. Someone left me in orphanage and it was there at that time as well, just worse, one aunty said me this, the only good person there. She used to look after me, but then she padded away.)
