He was so close to her but due to a lot of pain he went through he did not wanted to have hope again.
But just when he realized she is there he did not left any stone unturned to make her his again.

The rescue team was ready to go down to find Naira. Kartik again insisted to go with them but they refused saying it is not safe down the cliff better he should stay there only.
Kairav came to Kartik.
Ka: Papa aap uper hi raho dekho na uncle jaa rhe hain woh mumma ko uper lekar aa jaayenge. K: Beta aap samajh nhi rhe ho aapki mumma ko meri zarurat woh neeche mera intezaar kr rahi hongi
Kairav was also scared for Naira but at the same time he also needed to take care of his father because he very well know how Kartik must be feeling right now.
Ka: Nahi papa mumma toh sherni hai na woh bilkul thik hongi dekho akshu kitna ro rahi hai woh agar uper aai aur unhone dekha ki aapne akshu ka dhyaan nhi rkha toh woh aap pr phir gussa krengi
K: Par beta.. Ka: Papa pls matt jao na mujhe bahut darr lag rha hai
In all this Kairav made Kartik busy in talk and team went down. This small kid was broken and scared from inside but he stood strong for his father and family. When Kartik noticed that team went down he got angry and again he ran towards the cliff end. Manish holded him and asked him to let the team do their work. Kartik sat on the ground and kept on looking down the cliff.
"Naira tm chinta matt krna main hu yahan tmhara intezaar kar raha hu aur tm toh meri sherni ho na himmat rkhna Naira woh log tmhe dhoondne k liye neeche gaye hain... jldi se uper aa jao na yaar mera mann bht ghbra raha hai.." and the poor man kept his eyes on the spot from where she left him.

Team was searching for Naira. There was jungle down the cliff. One of the team member noticed some blood stains on the grass. He informed the others about it and they started to find in that direction. They found some more blood spots but nothing took them to Naira. Jungle was so big and they were very few in numbers so they decided to go up and ask the department to send some more workers. When they reached up everyone ran towards them. K: Meri Naira mili aapko kahan hai woh dikh kyun nhi rhi.. han woh mazzak kr rhi hai na mere saath main jaanta hu usse.. Naira dekho yeh mendhak bht darr chuka hai pls saamne aa jao.. bataiye na sir kahan h woh
Officer explained to them what happened there. K: Maine aapse phle hi kaha tha na mujhe neeche lekar jaaiye mujhe toh kisi zarurat bhi nahi h main dhoond lunga meri naira ko
O: Sir aap hmari baat smjhne ki koshis kriye neeche bahut ghana jungle hai n ab dekhiye shaam ho gai h hmari team bas aati hi hogi
In between this one of the team member asked Manish to do something as Kartik was interfering in their work. He thought something and then went to Kartik.
M: Beta dekho sab koshis kr rhe hain na woh log dhoond laayenge Naira ko K: Nhi papa yeh inse nahi hoga mujhe hi neeche jana hoga dekhiye na kitni der hogai h.
N suddenly someone injected kartik with a solution which made him fall unconscious.Then they managed to take him in the ambulance.
M: Mujhe pta h jab yeh hosh mein aayega tab mujhse bahut naraaz hoga pr main kuch aur kar bhi nhi skta tha
Some more members arrived there from the department and they went down the cliff to resume the investigation.
Manish along with unconscious Kartik and rest of the family members except Akhilesh and Naksh went back to home. No one wanted to go but situation was not allowing all of them to stay.
It was so hard for everyone. Each and every stuff was reminding them of Naira. The night passed but not one slept. Everyone was waiting for the information that Naira is safe.
Everyone was in the hall just then the phone rang. M: Hello O: Hello Mr.Manish, after hours of investigation our team couldn't find the body but we found some clues that hints towards the person being dead. We are sending the proofs on your address.
The Goenka family was shattered and then Suhasini looked upstairs and got shocked. Kartik has regained consciousness and he has heard everything the officer said. Kartik came downstairs and yelled at Manish for not letting him find Naira and relying on officer's team. He kept on saying that Naira is alive and he will bring her back. Then a package came to goenkas. Manish opened it. It was the proofs sent by officer. It had Naira's red bangels, her red dupatta and Kaira bracelet. Looking at this kartik was shocked and completely broken. All the accessories had blood stains on it. After a whole day investigation it was confirmed Naira is not anymore. There was a possibility of her body being taken away by animals.
