Scene : Ranveer is waiting for Sirat on breakfast table. Sirat comes.

They start eating.

R: Haan sab thik hai woh client k kaam se jaana pdega woh milne yahan nhi aa skte toh mujhe hi Jaisalmer jaana pdega aur purane client hain toh itna toh krna hi pdta h na.. jyada nhi bas 3-4 din ki baat hai aur haan main laut te hue Maudi ko lete hue aaunga unka bht mann ho rha h tmse milne ka pr whn Jaisalmer mein ghar pr bhi koi nhi h na

S: Maine padha h diary mein woh log mujhe kuch khaas pasand nhi krte par Maudi unpr ghar toh chor kr aa skti hain..... 1 min! kahin woh log wps se wahi sab toh nhi kr rhe isslie aap jaa rhe hain..
R: Nahi nhi main sach mein client k kaam se hi jaa rha aur yeh baat jab Maudi ko pta chli toh woh zidd krne lagi mere saath idher wps aane ko
S: Woh achanak se chle bhi gye the na jab main hospital se discharge hui thi

R: Toh iska matlb main nhi jaun kya
S: Are nhi nhi jaiye aap main toh bas yun hi keh rhi thi pr haan maudi ko lete aaiyega
R: Thik h tab main office jaa rha hu wahin se sidha nikal jaungi
S: Thik hai.. happy journey!!
R: Thanks.. aur tmhe koi bhi dikkat hai do call me.

Then Ranveer leaves.

Kairav's school.

Kv: Pls god sab acha krna yeh teacher papa se meri koi complain na kare.. waise maine kuch kia toh nhi h galat toh main kyun darr rha hu pr phir bhi yeh teacher log ka koi bharosa nhi aise meets mein yeh alag hi roop mein hoti hai.. pls god help krna
K: Kya badbad krte hue aa rhe ho aap Kairav pure raaste main dekh rha tha aapko itna kya darr rhe ho sachi batao kuch kia toh nhi h.. agr kia h toh you can share main kuch nhi kahunga aapko I promise.. hm dost hai na Kairav
Kv: Yeh papa log jab promise krke bolte hain na kuch ni kahunga tab toh glti se bhi koi baat nhi batani chaiye(he whispers slowly).
K: Kuch toh bolo beta itna kyun darr rhe ho
Kv: Kuch nhi papa yeh toh aise hi remember last time bhi main darr rha tha pr mujhe award mila tha.. woh raste bhar aap yawn kr rhe the papa aur mumma ne aapke maze liye the...and he becomes emotional.
This kid misses his mother a lot.
Kartik read that emotion instantly.

K: Haan toh aapki mumma ko toh bas mauka chaiye hota tha mere maze lene k liye pr dekh lo iss baar kahan neend aa rhi hai mujhe.. hai na Akshu.
Kv: Pr mumma nhi hain.. he says this slowly but it was audible enough to Kartik hear it.

Kartik was so missing Naira in the side front seat. The way she used to irritate him, talk with him while driving and how he used to romance with her which everytime used to get noticed by person sitting in the back either any family member or the kids and then she used to make faces. The trip to the school went like this in the silence where Kartik and Kairav both were remembering and missing Naira.
They reached the school. Kartik can't stay sad he need to smile for his kids and make him smile too.
K: So let's go buddy and wps aate waqt hm ice cream khayenge
Kairav understood what his father is trying to do. So he also smiled for his father.

Kv: Okay papa aur haan main apne favourite flavour wla lunga aur 2 scoops wla
K: Haan beta jo lena h aapko aap le lena chlo ab ander chlte hain

They went inside and reached Kairav's classroom where the meeting was taking place. Kartik and Kairav both greeted Kairav's teacher.

T: Good morning Kairav.. Good morning Mr. Goenka!!
K: So mam how is Kairav's performance.. everything fine?
T: Yes Mr. Goenka everything is fine he is doing good in studies. Kairav can you go and bring your file from the staff room as I think I forgot to bring it. You ask the peon he will guide you.
Kv: Ok ma'am and he goes.
T: I am sorry for your tragic loss Mr. Goenka. But Kairav seems lost sometime. He tries to be happy but the sadness is so evident in his face. The cheerful kid he was once is lost somewhere. Like sometimes while conversating with someone in between he gets reminds of something then he doesn't replies and leaves. The child is really dealing very hard after the loss of his mother.
K: Ma'am after Naira left our life has been not same like it was before. But we are trying. I know my kid smiles for me so that I don't feel sad but I know how broken he is from inside. I am trying to be both PaMa of my kids. And I promise I will bring that cheerful kid back again. Give me and him sometime.
T: I know Mr. Geonka and I am sorry if somewhere my words hurted you. I shared this to you because he is one of the brightest and loveliest student of my class. I just can't see him like this.
K: No no mam and I understand and appreciate your concern.
Just then Kairav came.
Kv: Mam I tried even the peon tried but we couldn't find our file.
T: Oh sorry Kairav its here only.
Kv: Oh it's there only.
T: Mr. Goenka he is doing good and I am sure he will make you proud. And as I have always said he is the most disciplined student of my class. So here we conclude Mr. Goenka. You can leave. Kairav will have to stay for some time as I have to do some formalities. Till then you can wait outside. Thank you.
K: Thank you Mam and I am waiting outside. Kairav complete it and meet me outside.

Then Kartik goes outside along with Akshu in the baby carrier. He was making Akshu to see the scene from the school corridor just then lady came there.
L: Awww such a cute kid... yeh kya aapki beti hai
K: Thank you...Ji yeh meri beti hai
L: Lag rhi thi bilkul aap pr gai hai aap bhi toh kitne cute hain aur.... handsome bhi!!
K: haha thank you pr jyada toh yeh apni mumma pr gai woh bhi iski trh bht cute hai
This lady was trying to flirt with him but our dear mendhak is not smart enough to get it.
L: Acha pr nhi nhi mujhe toh lgta hai aap par gai hai dekho toh iske cheeks aapke trf kitne soft hain main kheech kr dekh skti hu
Then she pulls Akshu's cheeks and after that Kartik. Kartik was shocked but again not smart enough to get it.
L: Ekdm same hain ji
K: Na na Naira iski Mumma uske toh mere se kaafi jyada soft hain
Here she was trying to flirt with him but he was mentioning Naira lol!!

For anybody it was so evident that none of the flirty tricks would work on this one woman man and the lady understood it.

L: Your wife is really lucky. And then she whispers slowly.."And I think I have an unlucky day.. jo inse flirt krne aa gai"
K: Na na I am more lucky.. but still thank you behen ji
L: Hein kya kaha.. behenji sorry sorry bhaisaab meri hi glti h aap se baat krne aai main chlti hu and then she went.
K: Pata nhi kya ho gya inhe ajib toh thi waise
Just then Kairav came and he saw what happened and was laughing.

Kv: Chlo papa ho gya kaam ab ghar chlte hain
K: Haan but not before eating ice cream at our favourite ice cream corner
Kv: Okayyy papa!!

They ate their ice creams and then reached home.

Goenka villa.

Kartik sees that Pandit ji is sitting on the sofa and dadi is talking to him. He goes to her.
K: Kairav aap ander jao fresh ho jaao main dadi se baat krke aata hu.. dadi kuch baat krni thi na aapko
Dadi gets shocked after seeing Kartik as she thought he might come late today.
P: Are Kartik beta tum.
K: Namaste Pandit ji.
P: Khush raho beta hum toh tmhare kaam se aaye hue hain tmhare liye rishte lekar Maaji ne kaha tha hmse

This makes Kartik angry and he looks towards dadi.

D: Kittu hm baat krne hi waale the tmse

Kartik doesn't speaks anything and leaves towards his room.
