A couple more weeks had passed. No sign of Severus. Draco and I hadn't heard anything about what's going on at hogwarts. There should be no way that this has gone on as long as it has.

It makes me wonder what's going on. Does anyone know I'm here?

As if on cue there was a knock on the door.

Draco and I shared a look before cautiously approaching the door. I looked through the peep-hole and saw Dumbledore.

I sighed and opened the door with a smile.

I'm wearing a black sports bra and grey biker shorts.

When I opened the door Dumbledore looked down at my exposed belly and smiled. There was a hint of dread in his eyes. I quickly caught on.

"Is everything ok? What happened? Where's Severus? Is he ok?" I was firing out questions way to fast for him to answer any.

"Let's sit down and talk."

I moved to the side and let him in. Draco and I followed him to the living room and we all took a seat.

"Are my parents ok?" Draco finally said something.

"They're in Azkaban right now. They were part of Voldemort's army." Dumbledore didn't even attempt to fake a smile.

Draco looked down like he was about to cry.

"We knew the death eaters would attack. We knew it was soon but we didn't know the exact day. They did however end up attacking two days ago. There were many deaths and heavy destruction to the school. Voldemort was killed along with many death eaters."

"What about Severus? Where is he?"

He looked down. When he did this every possible outcome came to mind about what had happened. Was he dead?

"We don't know. He disappeared after the fight. Some of the death eaters escaped. The ministry is doing everything they can to hunt him down along with the escaped death eaters."

I covered my mouth and tried to hold back tears. No way this is happening.

"It's still not safe for you at hogwarts. We're rebuilding the school. All the students were sent home and I'll send someone after you two once the school is rebuilt. Hopefully we'll find Severus before then."

The tears slipped out. Draco looked the same as I did. We were both at a loss for words. What could we even say.

"Do you guys need anything? I can send someone to Diagon Alley."

"Um. Some food." Draco spoke up for us.

"Yea. And I need to start building the nursery. Can they help with that too?" I tried to compose myself but barely did.

"Of course. A few people will be over in a few hours with everything. Send me an owl if you need anything." He forced a smile and let himself out.

I leaned into the couch and rubbed my temples.

"Don't think about that. Let's pick out a room for the nursery." Draco grabbed my hand to pull me up.

He was trying to take my mind off the situation.

I reluctantly followed him through the house. We checked the rooms before finally deciding on one. A few things needed to be taken out. Like the bed and nightstand. I'll leave the rocking chair and dresser in here for use when the babies get here.
