(Havers POV)
My eyes flickered open.
The sunlight shone into my room, lighting up every corner of the roughly painted walls. I sat up in bed. It was 11:00, I'm meeting Tom at the lake at 1:30.
I put on my shirt, black trousers and walked downstairs. The smell of bread flooded my nose.
"Tom! You're finally awake!" I heard a familiar voice say
"Hello dad." I replied sleepily.
"What are you doing today?" He asked
"I'm going to the lake with Tom, we're going to have a picnic" I said trying to hide a blush that was forming in my face.
I made a cake and packed up everything for the picnic. It was going to be great! Just him and Tom....
Oh god this will be amazing.
At 1:00 I left the house. The sun shone through the tree's as I strolled through the woods to the lake. It was warm day, perfect for a swim. The walk lasted 20 minutes. Birds tweeted, flowers opened up, then I arrived.
The lake glistened in the sun. No one could be seen. Perfect. It was so peaceful, then out of the bushes came Tom. Stumbling through the brambles. He looked like an idiot, but so handsome at the same time.
Handsome? NO! Cute.... Pretty.... Radiant....
"William" Tom said with a smile
"Tom!" I smiled back at him
We set up the picnic, I got the cake out. Toms face lit up, it was his favourite flavour. Chocolate.
"Chocolate is my favourite!" He remarked
"I know" he blushed
No he didn't blush... you're just making things up
Finally we finished the food.
"Time for a swim" I asked, Tom nodded his head in response.
I took of my shirt and I could feel Tom staring at me.
"You gonna take yours off" I asked sarcastically, he didn't say anything just started to get his shirt off, then trousers. I was blushing like crazy.
We were both ready. We ran into the water, it was warm. The sun still glistening on the water. It was an amazing view, until a wave of water knocked me off my feet. Tom had done it. Off the rock. He came to the surface.
"Game on"
The competition started, who could make the biggest wave. It was me. Doddle flip into the water.
The sun started to go down, the bird were singing. I looked at Tom, I could just kiss him.
NO WHAT?!?! I'm not gonna kiss him... that weird... and he doesn't feel the same way.
At that moment Tom wrapped his arms around me, and knocked me over. He was really warm compared to the cooling water... it was an amazing sensation.
"Got ya!" He yelled
"Yea you did..." I said slightly awkwardly
He let go of me... I wish he didn't.
"I guess we better be going home..." I said sadly
A frown formed on his face
"Yeah I guess so, can I take you home?" He asked
"Of course." I replied
Laughing, he took my arm. I was blushing and.... He was too?
I arrived at home.
When I was in bed I felt his arms around me again, then I drifted to sleep....
