Mikey and I walk back inside and Raph's eyes immediately go to our hands.
"It's about time Mikey, Jesus Christ." He mumbles and I laugh.
"Shut up, Raph. Seriously though, that took a really long time." Donnie says and gets a death stare from Raph. I shake my head and sit down on the couch.
"Kaitlyn, you wanna explain what the fuck is going on?" Gail asks and I smile.
"It's complicated and hard to explain." I say and she rolls her eyes.
"I've heard that enough. Explain. Now." She demands and I roll my eyes.
"Fine, since you wanna be like that." I say and stand up. I change into my mutant form. I look into the mirror and finally get to actually look at myself. My mask has two big bows on the side of my head. It covers under my eyes and stops at my nose. I have a choker with a gold bead on it. My brown wraps go up to my elbows. I have a waistband with a bow in the back, it has butterflies on it. The mask and band are orange, my favorite color. Which is, coincidentally Mikey's too.

Mikey comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"You look so beautiful." He whispers and I blush.
"I want you out, Kaitlyn." I hear Gail say. Mikey lets go of me and I turn to her.
"What?" I ask in disbelief.
"I said, I want you out." Abigail says and I roll my eyes.
"It's my place. You can't kick me out." I protest and she rolls her eyes.
"No, it's your parents' place, and they aren't here, are they? And you aren't old enough to live on your own, are you? I can. I'm 18 in a couple months, and you aren't even 17 yet. So I can, and I am. Get. Out." She spits and I walk up to her.
"No. my parents left this place to my name. I'm not leaving." I say and she raises her eyebrows.
"I can't live with you! I mean, look at you! You're a freak!" She yells and I falter a bit at the insult. She saw it and smirked.
"I'm surprised they can." She says and everybody steps up. All the turtles turn off the humanizers. She gasps.
"You all are the same." She says.
"It's my parents' place. They left it to me. I'm. Not. Leaving." I say through my teeth.
"Oh, c'mon Kaitlyn! Your parents died when you were 12! I'm an adult, I can live on my own. I'm staying here. You can't live off some dead dream your parents left behind before abandoning you." She says and I ball my hands up into fists. I start to shake with anger. Mikey puts a hand on my shoulder.
"You need to chill. Calm down." He says and I don't listen one bit. Tears start forming in my eyes.
"The only place your going to be staying is a hospital if you keep this up." I say and she laughs.
"You really are just like your father. You promise shit you can't keep. Maybe that's why they killed him." She says and I tackle her. I repeatedly punch her in the face. Breaking her nose, blacking her eye, busting her lip. Her teeth cut my knuckles as I punch her in the mouth.
"Kaitlyn! KAITLYN STOP!!"Mikey yells and holds me by my waist. Raph grabs me by my arms and they pull me off of her. They pull me back as I struggle to get free. I look at my ex-best friend. I calm down. They let me go, panting. I walk over to her with heavy breaths.
"I warned you you stupid cunt." I say and spit on her. She groans in pain. I laugh and walk into my room. I grabbed a picture of me and my parents, my favorite hoodie, and my toothbrush.
"Let's go." I say and walk past them.
"Kaitlyn. We need to clean you up first. I mean, look at your hands." Raph says and points to them. They are bleeding pretty bad. I walk to my bathroom and wash them. I washed off my arms as well, and my chest which is splattered with her blood. I finish cleaning up and walk back out to the living room. We all switch to our human forms. Leo nods.
"Let's go guys... and girls." He says and his eyes flicker to me. I want to read his mind so bad, but it feels wrong.
"Yeah, c'mon." Mikey says and takes me by my hand. We change back once we're outside and we race back home again. A/N I really hope you guys like it.
