We start running towards the accident. I run faster and faster with Louis by my side. We get to an alley the splits off into two parts.
"This is it. Be careful, get it done. I'll see you at the rendezvous point." he says and I nod, adjusting the book bag strap on my shoulder.
"I'll see you there. Love you." I say and hug him. He hugs me back.
"Love you too. go get this shit over with." he says and I laugh, I start running down the alley.
" I'll see your vanilla ass soon. Get straight down to the rendezvous!" I yell, still running. He laughs.
"Its cuz I'm black isn't it?" I smile, and keep running, ignoring his question. I get to the building in front of their base. I hide there as the rest of the member leave and slip on my latex gloves. I slip inside the base and lace the building with dynamite. I slip o it and climb my way up to the roof of the building I was hiding at. Louis calls me.
"Your ready? They on they way." he says.
"Yeah. They're gonna pay for what they did to Devon." I say and he chuckles.
"That's my girl. See you soon."
"Yeah." I say and hang up. They all come back in little section. About seven people per group. There's four groups. I roll my eyes when I see Marcus, the egotistical asshole they call their leader. I scoff. They all file in and I call the bomb. The whole place goes up in flames, debris flying everywhere.
"I guess they weren't home." I say aloud and jump from rooftop to rooftop until I get to the rooftop. I jump on top of Mr. Murakami's store. I see Louis leaning against the wall and Rocko across from him leaning on a wooden privacy fence. I jump down and land between them both. They both smile and hug me.
"You're safe!!" Rocko yells and I laugh.
"Obviously." I say and they let go. Louis looks at me.
"you have to pay for calling me vanilla." he says and starts tickling me like crazy. I start to laugh and he throws me over his shoulder when I try to run. Rocko holds me still and I scream. Four figures jump down.
"Put her down." Raph says and Louis turns around, looking at him.
"And who's gonna make me?" he asks and Raph growls. all the boys step forward. Louis and Ralph are only inches apart.
"You better back up." Rocko warns. I slip out of Louis' arms and step between them.
"Louis that's enough. They're my friends. Except for him, he's my boyfriend."I say and Rocko growls. I ignore him and continue explaining to them.
"Well, we should probably head back, it wouldn't do to get caught now." Louis says and I smile.
"Lets go." Rocko says and we all start running to the base.

We walk in and Louis does his whistle that gets everyone's attention. Everybody looks at him.
"Boys, our girl is home!" he yells and they all cheer, walking up to me. I hug each and every one of the boys. I missed them all so much but I couldn't be around as much lately because of school. I walk over to the safe and place my belt in it. I close and lock it. I sit down on the couch and Mikey sits down next to me,wrapping an arm around my shoulders. I lay my head on his chest. Rocko growls. Cameron puts a hand on his shoulder.
"Rock, calm down dude. She's fine." He says. Rocko shakes his head.
"Rocko, do you honestly think that I would be around people I didn't trust? These boys saved my life this morning. I trust them." I say and his eyes widen.
"What the fuck happened this morning!?!" Shit. I forgot to tell them.
"I was walking home after school and those stupid bots got their hands on me. The boys saved me but, I... changed... a little." I trail off at the end, not wanting to tell them that I was a mutant. I was embarrassed for some reason. Rocko gets on his knees in front of me, taking both my hands in his.
"Sis, tell me what happened. It's okay." He says softly and Louis puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I gotchu cuz'." He says and I smile, taking a deep breath. I stand up and hesitate before looking into Mikey's eyes. He smiles and nods his head. I nod back and change into my mutant form. The room is silent for a moment, and then Rocko breaks the silence by saying
"What's so bad about that?" I look at him in surprise.
"You really don't think I'm weird?" I ask and Louis smiles.
"You were weird before you changed. And, your still the same. Your personality never changed. Your beauty didn't change. Or your voice, or anything like that. Just your appearance. We all still love you. Nothing changed at all really." He says and I smile.
"Thanks Lou. Thanks Rocko. I love you guys so much." I say and they both hug me. Raph coughs and we let go from each other.
"Kaitlyn, you are aware that your dating my brother, right? Stop fuckin' around with all these boys." He jokes and I laugh.
"Yeah, it's not like that. All these boys, they're my family. They took care of me all this time. I am forever grateful for that. So, I'm not into them like that. I'm into Mikey like that." I say and he blushes. Rocko grabs my arm.
"Yeah, about that. He can have you on Mondays, Thursdays, and the weekends. We have official shit to take care of on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays." He says and Louis nods.
"But, all you boys are welcome here anytime. We are forever in your debt cuz' you saved our girl's life." Lou says and the turtles nod.
"Rocko, I can't believe your giving me a schedule to be with my boyfriend." I protest.
"Hey! I'm letting you have him and he's allowed to come over here whenever, including when your here. Don't. Push. It."He warns and I laugh.
"Okay. Well, today's Tuesday but I believe we did just blow up our rivals, so... LET'S CELEBRATE!!!" I yell and they all cheer. Someone starts some music and alcohol is brought out.
"Kaitlyn, we didn't do anything. You did that." Louis says. I nod. I grab Mikey's hand and pull him off the couch. I introduce him to a couple people. I find Cameron in the kitchen, which doesn't surprise me, and call him over.
"Hey Cam! Come here for a second!" I yell and motion him over.
"Yeah?" He asks and I motion to Mikey.
"This is my boyfriend, Mikey." I say and he shakes his hand.
"Well, it's nice to meet you. I expect you to take care of our girl." Cam says and Mikey nods.
"Of course." He says and I try to find the next person I have in mind. I can't find him. I stop another member, Jason.
"Have you see Cal? I need him." I say and he points to the way back of the training room. Of course he is. I walk over to him with Mikey. He lights a cigarette. Something I never liked him doing.
"Mikey, this is Calvin. Calvin, this is my boyfriend Mikey." I introduce them to each other.
"Hi. It's great seein' ya'." He says and takes a drag.
"Cal, please stop smoking." I say and he smiles, blowing the smoke in my direction.
"Why?" He asks and I roll my eyes.
"It's not healthy." I say and he laughs.
"Nothing about being in a gang is healthy, I don't see you stoppin'." He says and takes another long drag.
"Point taken." I say and walk away.
"What's his problem?" Mikey asks and I shrug.
"He's had a pretty fucked up life. He'll make it though. We all will." I say and hope he doesn't find the other hidden meaning in that. Being in a gang is some tough shit. We've had a couple of our members locked up. They were being stupid in the wrong place at the wrong time. A couple bulls found them and locked them up. That was when I first joined. When I was the new blood and when my name was 'kitten'. Those days are long gone. I introduce Mikey to one more person. I walk over to him and tap on his shoulder. He turns around and looks at me.
"Yes?"
"Blaze, I want you to meet my boyfriend, Mikey." I say and he shakes his hand.
"If you hurt my girl I'm gonna be first in line to kill you." He says and I feel Mikey's body tense up beside me. I smack him.
"Shut up, Blaze." I say and he laughs.
"I'm just playin'. It's nice meet' ya', pal." He says and Mikey smiles.
"You too." He says and we walk away.
"All these people are crazy." He says and I laugh.
"I know. But you gotta love em'" I say and look around. I see Cam in the corner with Jacob. Jacob gives him $100 and then Cam licks the window.
"Gotta love em'..." I mutter under my breath. Mikey yawns.
"Do you wanna go to my room and lay down?" I ask and he nods. I lead him to my room and we both lay down on the bed. I get under the covers and he gets under the covers next to me. He wraps his arms around my waist and we both eventually fall asleep.
