Vangie stood in the other side of the door with a baby carrier in hand, keys in another. She was in jeans and blouse, makeup done perfectly. Her body still showed signs of recent pregnancy considering her baby was not even four weeks old. Why was she here?

"Aren't you going to invite me in?"

Savannah didn't like her attitude one bit. "No. Why are you here?"

Vangie pushed her way in and Savannah only allowed it because she held a baby.

"Listen." Vangie went into the living room like she owned the place and took a seat. She sat the baby down who was sleeping.

"I don't like you and you don't like me. I don't give a fuck, honestly."

Savannah hated females who wore their attitude like a weapon. "Then why are you here? I do enjoy my days where I don't have to think about you."

Vangie laughed. "Yeah like blocking me and changing your number mean you aren't thinking about me." She looked Savannah up and down. "Them doctors did a decent job on sucking the fat out of you."

Savannah glared. "What do you want? I will say go away and then you can leave."

"Baby, you ain't cute." Vangie wagged a well manicured finger. "So this is what you are going to do. I don't want Rev driving anymore. Those females are bitches and I need to keep my man. You are going to get him a job at your job. I hear you're making some damn good money. I mean six figures which is why you can pay all these bills and get body surgery."

Savannah laughed. "You and Rev deserve each other. There is nothing you can say to get me to do such a thing. Rev will just have to get his own job. Now, get out."

Vangie stood and pretended she was tall. "You are going to do what I say because you don't want to know what happens when you piss me off. You took one trip down those stairs already."

Now Savannah stepped forward. "And I won't take another one unless you're falling with me. Get out! Be a decent mother and tell your man to sign the damn divorce papers. I want him and you out of my life."

Vangie attempted to throw a punch hoping Savannah would flinch. She didn't. Vangie laughed.

"He won't sign those papers. You a damn money cow. I want him to get you to move back in and free up his checks for me."

Savannah smiled. "Once that house is paid off or sold, I'm done with you. We have a court date. He doesn't have to sign them papers. The fact he is a cheating abusive jerk, will grant me my divorce. You're living in the house I'm paying for. Six months and I'm done. He's going to be forced to sell the house. You all can have the money. I'll be free. That is priceless. Now get out or I will have you escorted out."

Vangie didn't know about the court date. Savannah saw the shock in her eyes. That brain was running a mile a minute now.

She picked up her baby and headed towards the door. "Don't think this is over."

Savannah was not going to be intimidated. She locked the door behind Vangie and didn't let that female upset her.

She met up with Ashe at a garage and he was so gorgeous in dark blue slacks and a stripped blue and silver shirt. His arms were covered and he wore a silver necklace.

Savannah noticed the several vehicles on the large lot and a huge beautiful Jeep Wrangler with an aggressively sexy look in all black.

Ashe gave Savannah a sweet hug before releasing her and pointing at the Jeep.

"What do you think?"

Savannah walked around the four door Jeep and looked at everything. It was so beautiful.
