Night fell upon the town in an eerie glaze, and Jason was aware of the feeling. It was the same one that he had felt waking up that one morning in the white room, surrounded by men, and his sister. That was the best part.

Jason walked among the various soldiers who were readying their gear, watching as each man polished his gun, cleaned his blade, and put his gear on. Jason already had most of his equipment, so he was ready. At least he thought so...

"Jason! Your headset!" William ran across the aisle, waving the device in his hand. Jason reached for it.

"Thank you. Are you geared up?"

"Ready as ever." He was very excited. "This is my first time taking a whole city before."

"Mine too. Hell, I didn't even take down your whole weapons factory that one time."

"That flying dumpster was quite funny, but I can't believe you did that." His voice was a mixture of fury and happiness.

"That's what I go for." Jason chuckled a bit.

"Well, we have work to do. I will finish getting everyone in gear and ready to go; you make your way out. And don't forget to wait for the main attack before striking, okay?"

"Gotcha. I will see you soon then." Jason walked off, briskly at first, then he descended into a run. The trucks were purring to life as he raced by, boots hitting the concrete at high speed. The blackness outside took a moment to adjust to, but he saw clearly in seconds. The area around him was empty. Jason moved forward, away from the safety of the light, and the space around him took gruesome forms, bringing back the death of his parents, the rescue of him and his sister, the assassinations, the killing. As he ran forward, escaping one memory, another took its place. These events fueled his rage, and as he dashed forward, he clenched his fists. The pounding of boots became more violent.

At last, he was in position. The roof above the main Security building glinted in the moonlight, and Jason used the rifle slung on his back to survey the land with anger. There were no soldiers outside, as a matter of fact, there appeared to be none inside either. But that was standard Security protocol. No one should be near any windows during the night. It made things hard for snipers to get shots out, and the soldiers should be asleep anyways.

The trucks rolled in on schedule. Jason watched from his position atop the roof, and noted the troops' professional approach. He was impressed.

The Order warriors approached the main gate, and cut the latch. William stepped through, followed by two other men, then two more, then two more, until everyone was inside. They fanned out, covering all corners. Will stepped up to the door, and placed a canister on the handle. After backing away, he activated the detonator, and watched the device drill into the steel, and explode. Jason took that as his cue, and began his dash for the building's roof as the whole of the squad rushed inside. Jason wondered if anyone was actually awake in there. If not, they soon would be. Jason placed his directional charge on the roof grate, and stepped away to release the button. The metal fell away in a flash of light, and Jason jumped in without looking.

There was no one around. Jason made his way down one of the corridors, drawing his handgun as he went. The first room he entered was devoid of anything except a table, and a map. Jason grabbed the map, and kept moving. Dust kicked up behind him as he went. Despite being in a supposedly clean building, he was getting dirtier.

The next room... happened to be the barracks. Jason would be the one to stumble upon this, of course, which was why he made sure his rifle was loaded too. He blasted away at the men as they arose from their slumber, sending them back to sleep and leaving them there. Only one man escaped his gunfire, and that soldier was foolish enough to charge straight at him. Jason dodged right, sending his rifle butt into the man's spine, and dropping him to the floor.
