Chapter 4

Maxim:

"Hey Joey! Jeff and George want the usual!" I yelled, Jeff and George we're regulars who came to the tavern on a daily basis after working at the mines.They were very nice to me and were considered my uncles.

It was rush hour at the tavern, all the men and woman were coming back from work, and a couple travelers who were visiting this city.

Everyone knew about this bar and it's delicious food dishes, Joey hired a man named Kris who was trying to become a cook but no one would hire him because he was a commoner. But of corse Joey with a heart of gold had hired him and we were now known as the famous city tavern. Joey kept the name simple and decided to call it The tavern so people wouldn't get confused I guess.

I continued asking people for their orders and taking plates from tables. I had just turned 18 a couple weeks ago, so by law I can now work in a bar.

Not that I DIDNT worked before but....

It's nice to know I can legally work now....

I worked for a couple hours searching tables and having conversations with people asking about the tavern.

Until....

I saw the most gorgeous man walk in.

He was around 6'3with black hair and the prettiest gray eyes. He was wearing black clothes with a sword hanging off his hip. He had two men behind him, one was a blond haired man who I had met bofore. He was around 6'0 and the other man had brown hair and was approximately the same size as the blond man.

I watched them walk to a table and take there seat. I walked over and took a deep breath to calm myself down.

" Hi there welcome to the tavern what can I get

The gorgeous black haired man looked straight at me.

And then I realized who it was.

It was prince Nicolas.

The cold hearted ruthless killer,also known as the devil.

But there was something off with me... I felt calm, and safe around the man.

" Hey pretty could I get three beers to start with for us?"  The blondie said.

The prince looked pissed when his friend called me pretty for some reason.

" Um sorry yeah.Absolutely" I said as I snapped my head away from the prince.

"Sorry um what were your guyses names?" I asked for the tab. We like to put the names of our costumers down on a piece of paper then at the end of their meal they pay.

I'm "Nico"

Oh. My. Gosh.

The black haired mans voice was absolutely amazing. It was a deep and booming voice that would make any girl melt into a puddle.

"Jeez thought you would say 'why do you want to know'.Sorry I apologize im Sam and the brown haired guy is Otis"

Nico just stared at him angrily and stared back at me.

" Okay cool thanks!!" I smiled and walked away.

I could feel the Nicos gaze onto me as I walked to get their beer and come back.

I then realized.

That I had a crush on the prince.
