Chapter Two

Kai's Pov

"So I'm sure everyone's seen Victoria Monét's newest music video, and I gotta say, I love it so far." Jimmy started, earning cheers from the crowd. "And you were also rumored to be on set of a music video for Ariana."

"Vic's video was definitely fun shooting, it was interesting to play alongside Ariana as this toxic teenage couple. Obviously, we're a lot older and our relationship has changed over the years, so it was definitely a challenge for the both of us." I explained, trying not to hint at too much. "As for the Ariana rumor, it's false. My entire family is getting ready for a wedding, so nothing crazy is happening at the moment. But I'm just as excited for Ari's comeback, maybe even more than you guys and my kids."

"That's definitely a stretch." Jimmy laughed, only joking. "So, speaking of your kids, how life is now? How have things changed?"

"Well, it's much harder for Ariana, Billie, and I to accept projects because we don't like being away from them, and sometimes our schedules conflict. It's all about communication though, co-parenting with Billie is going really well, and so is my relationship with Ariana. Having four kids is definitely a lot, but I love it. Most of our friends are either married, have kids, or both, so we do a lot of stuff with them, and the kids just get together. It's really amazing to see."

"Wait, how do they feel about going out on stage with you? I've seen your little one Gigi perform with Ari a few times, she seems to love it."

"Yeah, Gigi is definitely just like Ari, she loves what Ari does and she loves performing with her even more. Nick and Theo just love to travel, but they love to dance and talk to the crowd whenever they're on stage. Odessa is pretty shy, so sometimes we'll just watch from backstage or in the pit with her. But she loves concerts and stuff. She's also a really good dancer, she doesn't do it much but she's amazing at it."

"I love seeing the videos you guys post with them, I think it's adorable. It's so cute how supportive they are of you guys!" He smiled, as I sat a bit farther in my seat. "So as a Dad, one of my biggest fears was having my career consume my kids, how do you guys feel about that?"

"Well, we keep them out of the spotlight a lot. I know so many people screaming and taking pictures of you is overwhelming for someone that young, so we're very strict about being discreet when we travel with them. But if they're okay with saying hi to fans on some days, then we're fine with having them in the spotlight. It's just all about how they feel and how comfortable they are. The minute they're like, 'I don't like this.' Then they don't have to, and that's perfectly okay."

"I totally agree with that," Jimmy answered, moving on to his next question. "So you and Ari have been married for almost five years now, and a lot of people don't know this, but you were planning a second wedding. A big wedding actually. Is that still happening?"

"Yep, in next year October." I smiled, knowing we had just finished planning weeks ago. "It's around the time my youngest sibling will be tying the knot, so we're all very excited."

"VERONICA'S GETTING MARRIED?!"

I laughed, rolling my eyes. "Jimmy everyone's known since July! I texted you about it last night!"

"Well yeah, I didn't know if they knew." He said sheepishly, as everyone laughed. "Give us the details!!"

"Cole and Ronnie might kill me for this, but it happened on the night of their anniversary, they went on this little trip to Vancouver, Cole surprised her with like gifts and activities for them, and then he just proposed. It honestly shocked my siblings and I when we found out. I mean, not like the proposal part but the fact someone would want to marry Ronnie." I teased, as everyone laughed once again. "But no seriously, I'm so happy for her. All my siblings have found the loves of their lives and they're treated so well."
