I WANT IT, I GOT IT

Chapter Three

Kai's Pov

I rolled my eyes, leaning on the car's window. "I thought it was an emergency." It was just barely 8 in the morning and Billie had called me rushing me outside. It was bad enough I had to wake up at six to feed a very loud and barking Coco. The house was quieter than normal though since the kids were at my parent's house and Ariana had meetings all day.

"It is." She smiled, opening the door from inside, "You're kidless and you spend today sleeping? Nah, we're going somewhere."

"You know how much sleep I've missed?" I chuckled, sliding into the dodge charger.

"You got time to sleep in the car, it's fashion week and I kinda wanna go."

"I can't just up and leave to New York."

"Why?"

"Just in case something happens, I have to be here."

"Okay, what about for a day? Finneas and Claudia don't have the kids either and they've been looking to do something fun too."

"Just for a day," I repeated, letting her know I was serious. Billie nodded as a smile spread across her face. 

Sometimes, it was pretty wild to think about how much time had passed. It felt like I was still in my early 20s, touring and messing around with my friends. Now, practically all of them were either married or had kids too.

As Billie mentioned before, Finneas and Claudia were now parents too. Rose was almost three, while her little sisters, Elora and Mavis, were approaching one.

Pete and Bella had also had another baby and named him Scott after Pete's father. Isaac and baby Bella had grown a lot over the years as well, and they weren't so little anymore.

Lauren and Kiana got eloped like a year ago, and had two boys; Wave and Hayes. Hayes was literally the spitting image of Lauren, and he was only two, Wave looked more so like Kiana.

Speaking of Lauren, Victoria and John had also had another baby and named her Hazel. Vanessa was mostly Victoria, but you could definitely see elements of Lauren in her.

When it came to eyes, Lauren's genes always took over.

Noah and Kylie had also added two new additions alongside Stormi. Venus was born almost a year after her sister, and then Wolf, who was just recently born.

Justin and Kendall weren't too far behind, but they just had Noelle and Valentina. They were definitely crazy for opting for 2 under 2, but then again, Ariana and I had four under one, so there wasn't much of a difference.

Adding onto the news of marriages, Brian and Aaron had also got engaged, and their wedding was nearing soon.

"So, I wanted to ask you about Nick joining Finneas and I on tour soon." Billie brought up, as she drove. "It starts in like 3 weeks, and Rose has been wanting him to come."

"Oh yeah, that's fine. We could all probably come to see a show." I said.

"You know, I love that he loves my job as much as I do. I was nervous that it all would be too overwhelming for him, but he seems fine with fans and stuff."

"If I'm being honest, I'm not surprised that he's fine with everything. Remember when he was first born, and you'd have him in the studio with you, and he'd just go to sleep immediately to whatever you and Finneas were doing?"

"Yeah, I'm excited to see what he'll wanna be when he gets older."

"Maybe something in music, he's already started to play a few instruments."
