" Jungkook... hey Jungkook... can you hear me? hang in there baby"

I reached for my phone to call Jun or the police, but the battery was out, I felt so helpless. suddenly a sharp pain hit my head and I saw a beam of bright light that nearly blinded my eyes, that's when I heard something, a melody, it seemed familiar.

Lovely birds grant me aid

hear the cries as you fly

heal the scars make them fade

take the pain to the sky

it kept echoing through my ears and I heard a woman whispering, "Sing it with me, you have to save him" I unconsciously started singing it as my voice echoed through the alley, I kept repeating it till the light in front of me disappeared, I felt dazed, but I was not about to let the man die just because I feel sick. I blinked a few times as I looked down at Jungkook, my confusion grew bigger when I pressed on his wound again and found nothing, I lifted his shirt and the wound indeed healed with no scars left behind, just blood. and the ring in my hand, it's glowing.

Jungkook was sleeping in my arms as I looked around for his phone, my eyes caught it a bit far away from where I was, I tried stretching my hand out to grab it, but failed. It then clicked in my head, my grandma's talk about me having the ability to move things from afar, I stretched my hand once again towards the phone and took a deep breath, how am I supposed to do this? I thought as my hand was still in the air doing nothing, maybe I should close my eyes and imagine myself moving it? I questioned myself again, and it worked!!, the phone moved a bit but it was tiring to lift it up, I think practice will solve this weakness, it is so draining to move such a small object.

after a few minutes of the phone moving up and down in the air, it successfully reached my hand, I unlocked it and dialed Jun's number, after a few rings he picked up "Hello?" "Jun, we need help" "What? where are you?" " I don't know, but I will turn on live location, can you track this phone?" " yeah I can, just make sure the battery doesn't die" "Okay", he hung up the call and I placed the phone beside me, I kept checking on Jungkook from time to time, everything was okay but he had a fever, a concerningly high one.

I tried waking him up but he wasn't responding, just then, I heard a car stop by and it was Jun's car, he ran towards me and his eyes widened, "What happened in here? why is there blood, is he okay?" " Jun calm down and help me take him to the car, I will explain when we go back home" he couldn't talk more as he quickly took his brother and laid him down inside the car, I followed behind but strangely no energy was left in my body to move much, my legs were wobbling to the car, I got in and sat down beside Jungkook's body as Jun sat on the opposite side of me.

time skip - house

we laid Jungkook down on his bed and Jun was going to call the doctor but I stopped him, " he needs a doctor y/n!" " no he doesn't, sit down I will explain everything to you" I said and sat down on the sofa near the bed, Jun sighed as he sat down massaging his temple, "Okay, now tell me what happened" "Okay, so, we were coming back from the ice cream shop and Jungkook knew some shortcuts and alleys, we took one of them to reach home faster, but the moment we stepped into the alley, Jungkook got shot by a gun-" Shock took over him as he stood up and made his way to the door, I ran after him to stop him, he stopped in the hallway and turned around looking at me, his eyes showed anger, " y/n leave my hand, I told you he needed a doctor, do you wanna watch him die?" he yelled as he pushed my hand away continuing his way to the doctor's office, " CAN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME? I HEALED HIM JUN, HE DOESN'T. NEED. A DOCTOR" Silence took over as he looked at me in disbelief, I mean, who on earth would believe my voice can heal?

he came towards me and grabbed my hand aggressively leading me inside the room once again, he let go of my hand and sat down on the sofa looking at the ground, I sighed deeply and sat down beside him, "Finally you wanna listen to me, so as I said, he was shot by a gun, but then something weird happened, the ring in my hand shined, and a blinding light shined in front of me, then a woman came and told me to sing, so I sang a melody that was so familiar to me, I kept singing till the light vanished, when I looked at Jungkook in my arms, he was breathing normally, and the wound disappeared, even the bullet is no longer there" Jun looked at me trying to understand what is going on, he started massaging his head as he spoke, " so you are telling me, your second power is healing wounds? by singing?" "yeah..." he went silent for a while as he was thinking of something. " you know you sound crazy right now right?" " Jun I'm aware of that, but to be fair is anything happening in this family normal?" "Nope" He said as he zoned out.

" come with me" he said as he stood up heading somewhere, I glanced at Jungkook to see if he woke up and then followed Jun down the hallway, we reached the basement and he unlocked the door and called the doctor, the doctor came with us into the basement, I was unsure of what he was going to do but I slowly followed him in, he locked the door behind us and turned the lights on making my eyes squint, it was an empty place with some white cabinets and bright lights all over the place, the floor was black and there was a large mirror wall. he walked towards one of the cabinets and opened it, " doctor, don't interfere until I ask for your help" Jun ordered the doctor, " okay" I stood there waiting for what's gonna happen, not gonna lie I was scared, Jun took something from the cabinets and hid it behind his back as he walked towards me, his shoes clicking on the floor made my anxiety go up, I watched him come closer to my figure and he stopped right in front of me, " stay calm and don't panic okay?" he said and pulled out a knife, I gasped and backed away, " y/n I trust you with this" and with that said, he stabbed himself in the stomach, digging the knife deep inside.
