we sat there at a loss of words, we didn't expect it to be this deep. Grandma wiped her tears as she looked at her lap, " I go to the mountain every month to transfer the plant into needles, Jungkook's dose is two times stronger than the one I inject y/n with" "Why?" Jun asked, "Because his condition is similar to his grandpa, that witch wanted the second baby of Soyeon to suffer. and for your knowledge, the witch is the granddaughter of the great father" "SHE IS RELATED TOO?" I asked surprised, everything was too much at the moment, the amount of information all at a time was shocking my brain. grandma nodded, "lemme explain one more thing so you would know the truth without anything missing. Jun is the next king of this village, and that witch gave birth to a royal but I don't remember the child's name" she said as we looked at Jun, he had his eyes wide as he didn't know how to react, " how... how am I supposed to rule a village grandma? I have no experience in this" he said feeling puzzled, she smiled at him and patted his back, " you don't have to rule it, because I'm still alive and I will help you with it, but when the village needs you I will call for you" she reassured him.

"y/n my dear" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Grandma, " huh? yes?" " what's on your mind dear?" silence was in the air, I was thinking about whether I should ask her or not, " you know you can ask me anything you want, I might have the answers" she said as I looked at Jungkook and back at her, I nodded my head as I asked, " well I have two questions, what happened to our mothers? and what does 'two royals under the moon' mean?" she smiled sadly as she held my hands in between hers.

" I don't know much about what happened, but I witnessed a lot. when Jun turned 18, Jungha came back to the village, he explained that he was blinded by a spell the witch cast on him, he wanted to come back to take after the king but after he found out about Jun being the next king, he didn't like it at all, he wanted the king to be a royal that had the illness, so that he kills and takes their place, he begged Soyeon to forgive him and let him see his boys, but she refused. the only thing that convinced her was Jungkook calling his father's name whenever he got sick. so they came back together for the sake of their kids" she said as she looked at the boys, they now understood what was happening, and she turned to me and looked into my eyes.

" and about you y/n.... when Daeyeon gave birth to you and knew she had the illness, she decided to distance herself from you, she didn't want you to see her die, so she handed you to me. I was the one to raise you along with your father visiting from time to time, after your mom's death, your dad started seeing her in you, you resembled her a lot, and he couldn't control himself as he wanted to do bad things to you, but then I took you back until you became 18, you then went to study in Busan" my tears kept falling as she finished, she wiped my tears and took me in for a hug, " where is Lisa? I see she didn't come with you this time?" she asked, she has always loved Lisa, how bubbly her personality was, and how brave she became after every problem she faced. I looked down as I didn't know what to say, I started sobbing loudly as Jungkook patted my back, " that asshole k-killed her" I blurted out as she froze in her place, " who is he?" "Grandma, do you know anyone with the name Jeon Junghyun?" Jun asked her.

but she was still in shock at Lisa's death, "oh dear..... when did she die? And from where did you bring that name?" she said almost yelling, " she died at midnight, this day" I said as I wiped my tears and sighed. "and Jung Hyun, did you see him?" grandma asked panicking, we got confused as we looked at each other, Jungkook decided to speak, " well grandma, Jung Hyun is y/n's stalker, he is the one who killed Lisa" grandma gasped as she looked at the ground.

the room was silent for a while, until Grandma spoke again. " you asked about 'two royals under the moon, right?" we nodded as she continued, "Well, I don't know about that, it's a riddle the great father left for my grandchildren to solve, he said you can solve it with time, but there is something more important you need to know" we couldn't believe there was more for us to know, how did grandma manage to hide all this from us? " we need to stop Jung Hyun, he is dangerous, his mother didn't want him and threw him to his father, Jungha had no choice but to take care of him, but as Jung Hyun turned 9, his wizard self started taking over, and he will seek revenge on you" it explained why he was always trying to find a way to make my life worse, Amy might not be related to him, as he is a wizard. "but, how can we protect ourselves?" Jungkook asked as he got mad at the thought of Ashton hurting the ones he loved again.

"each one of you has their own way of protecting themselves, which means if Jungkook tried to do what y/n does, it won't work for him, and so on. Jun's secret is to read spells, he is the one who can cast spells and take his grandpa's book" she started as we all focused on what she had to say next, " Jungkook's secret is a necklace the great father gifted him, once he wears it, it never breaks, he can see the enemy's weakness, he can also read minds, but never of the royal family" Jungkook looked at me pouting as I chuckled lightly, " happy that I won't be able to read your mind?" he said now annoyed, " yes of course" I giggled as grandma smiled.

"and then y/n, the great father said you had two secret defenses. the first one is controlling things from afar and moving them, all you have to do is wear the father's ring, it works only when you wear it. the second secret is unknown, but Father did leave you a riddle to solve. fairer than the sun, a piece that shines blue, once you find it, you know how to rule" she said as I looked at her clueless of what it meant, I was losing brain cells trying to understand, but it wasn't the first time I heard of that riddle, " that's it kids, now go and greet the family doctor, he lives at the front line of the village, he must have missed you all" she said as she disappeared into her room. " you go guys, I wanna rest for a bit, my head is about to explode" Jun said as we nodded and left.

"you still remember where he lives?" Jungkook said as he held my hand and walked beside me, " of course, I grew up here" I said as I dragged him to the entrance of the village, the doctor lived near there. we soon arrived and we knocked on the door, the door opened and Doctor Lee greeted us. he welcomed us in, and we chatted for a bit until Jungkook's phone rang, " I'm sorry, give me a second" he said as he excused himself and went out, "So y/n, Jungkook grown up a lot, how have you been since the last time I saw you?" doc Lee asked me as I smiled, " yeah he indeed became a man, and I have been good, what about you?" he nodded his head as he spoke, " I'm good dear, but I would feel better if you sang for me sometime later, hm?" he said as I shyly answered, " okay, well doc, I need to go now, it was nice seeing you again, I will visit again later, okay?" I said as I stood up and went to the door, " yes of course, feel free to drop by anytime you want" he said as I bid him goodbye.

as I closed the door and turned around, I found Jungkook looking serious as he ended the call, he turned to me and he looked disappointed. " what's wrong?" I asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist, " they are just reminding us about the funeral, it is tomorrow" he said as I nodded my head, things are happening fast, but I think it's a lot better since it's fast, I don't want to remember the incident every time I close my eyes. "then let's go tell grandma, maybe she would want to attend the funeral, Lisa was her favorite" I said as I intertwined my fingers with his and walked back to the end of the village.

as we got in, we saw Jun holding a book, which I assumed was Grandpa's spells book, Jungkook ran towards his brother and sat down beside him as they both continued reading the book. grandma was sitting in the kitchen slicing some fresh vegetables, she noticed me and called me over, I went to wash my hands and then sat beside her, I took another knife and helped her finish the dinner.
