Chapter 11 : Loss

It was the D-Day . Namjoon was in  his police uniform and about to leave his Quarters when Yoongi knocked on his door.

"Hey I was just coming to you .Everything is set .I have the team in position and we will wait till we see movements on the docks."

Yoongi was looking at Namjoon with a new formed admiration .This is the guy he met during trainings and look how far he had come .

Even though Yoongi was in a higher position than Namjoon .It was solely because Namjoon has rejected the offer when it came to him .He was happy and content where he was and bigger positions just meant more responsibilties. And Namjoon didn't think he needed that in his life .

"I actually wanted to propose you something "
Min yoongi was a confident guy. And he was older then Namjoon ,he definitely had more stars on his uniform then Namjoon has .But he was scared.

He wanted to ask a very big favour and he was hoping Namjoon won't refuse it.
So instead of waiting anymore he decided to spit it out.

Yoongi said it so fast he himself didn't  understood what he said.

Namjoon was amused by Yoongi's  behavior. He must have something  big to ask .

Namjoon waited patiently for Yoongi to repeat what he said in a audible and human friendly language.

Yoongi composed  himself and took a breath and decided it was better to show him .

He pulled out an envelope which he was hiding in his one hand that was on his back all this time and shoved it in Namjoon's general direction.

Namjoon eyed the envelope and took it in his hands , ripping the seal .(God of destruction.)Yoongi was worried he might have ripped what was inside too but thankfully that wasn't the case.

When namjoon read the contents of the paper he was perplexed.This...Min Yoongi you vixen.

Yoongi was biting his lips hard.Who would have thought a chief who roars and makes all the officers in his department shiver in fear was now acting like a kitten who was splashed with a bucket of cold water.

"You want me to join this department ? I thought I agreed to work on only this case since I was initially working on it ."

The offer said that Joon has to resign from Busan precinct  forever and set his desk in Seoul precinct ,with a raised salary and a new position.

Offer was tempting .But Namjoon had different thoughts.

"One such envelope was given to Taehyung too. I know why  you never left Busan Joon .It was because  everytime you were offer to work somewhere  else Tae wasn't  and you  wont leave him alone .He was happy when I handed this to him but he said he will accept only if you accept  it"

This was a sly move. Yoongi knew Taehyung was Namjoon's weakness and he had played a dirty game .But he was weak for his husband and what Jimin wants Jimin gets .

"I dont know Yoongi .This is huge .I respect you but I really am not sure if this is what I want now "

"You can think over it Joon . I am not forcing you or anything  but you are not 19 year old anymore.And if you keep rejecting offers one day they will stop coming and you will regret then .I am sure what I am offering you is suitable for someone of your caliber .Just take your time and let me know .The offer will be valid as long as this case runs "
Yoongi pats Namjoon on his back and left him with an offer he hope he will accept .

Namjoon fold the paper back in the envelope and placed it in his nightstand drawer .He will think about it. Right now he was needed somewhere else .

The docks were empty .But if you see closely there was a cruise approaching the docks.And the trunks were loaded into them .
