Chapter 23: Never again

Namjoon was on his way to Hoseok's office.But his Jeep was giving him headache.Something about the engine delay.It took a minute before the engine revives and he was cursing at it.

He didn't like it when he have to sit there waiting to see if the engine decides to run or not.So here he was waiting for that to happen.It finally started and he mentally made a note to send it to the mechanic later.He is a damn officer he cant have a tantrum throwing vehicle .

"Hii Namjoon-ssi right ?"

"Yes...Hoseok in ?"

Jisoo nodded and Namjoon entered the cabin.This was his second time in Hoseok's office and he received the sharpest glare ever as soon as he stepped in.

"If you are here to tell me that you are planning another 'experiment' on Jin then kindly fuck off"

Ouch.

Namjoon didn't expected Hoseok to be this sassy ..well he understood why he said that.Because last time when he was here he hadn't told Hoseok anything about the plan until later ...but that was because he didn't had any plan at that time either.

But who will convince Hoseok.Even Yoongi had raised his hands up in this matter.

Namjoon sighed.

"Alright alright I get it .I am the bad guy here.I am sorry and No I am not here to inform you about any new plan either "

"Then you may sit"
Namjoon glared .How does Hoseok switches his mood like that ?

"I am here to talk about Eunji "
"You got any leads?"
Hoseok looked at him with hopeful eyes , Namjoon felt bad for dissappointing him.

"I wished I could say that but No...we haven't "

"She's been missing since the day before wedding and now I cant even pacify Minji .She looks so broken and she have already gave up "

"I dont understand why would someone kidnap her....it wasnt like she disclosed much ..and hell I dont think she even knows that it was Hanseol behind all this"

"I don't know Namjoon but I cant give up on finding her....in some way I feel responsible you know...if I havent brought her in the precinct..."

"Then we couldn't have known about the trafficking ..."

"Which still havent happened.. why is there no movement....no one was shipped anywhere....why ?"

It was really a mystery .They have been keeping watch but nothing out of ordinary has happened yet.

"But we know it was planned right ..we just dont know why they didn't work on it...like I am not saying they should have but then the question remains the same .Why?And not to forget that even though they are not in any danger ...Jin definitely is .."

"Still no clue about that messenger? Is Jin safe there because if he isnt then I wont let you play with his life "

"He is safest there but we still dont know the person behind it and the worst thing ? It may not be Hanseol ."

"Ermm..I think Jin can help you here"

"What do you mean ?"

"Maybe whoever wanted Jin had already met him in a way..like you can ask him if Hanseol or Daejung ever introduced him to someone..."

Well Hoseok had a point .Whoever this is ...is quite obsessed with Jin. Or else who will have the guts to send texts to a fucking officer..whoever this is ...is a madman...and Namjoon is worried if he fails to keep Jin safe ,that bastard will ruin him.
