I'm No Hero

chapter 3

Sorry I forgot to put someone in the character section .Her name is Amelia and she is someone who bullies Grace.She is tall with long black hair

As me and Aria made our way into our hell hole of a school I began walking to my locker with my head down trying to get there unnoticed, unfortunately I had no such luck as Aria grabbed my arm and dragged me towards a group of cheerleaders.

As Aria began talking to her friends I stayed hidden behind her suddenly finding an interest in my shoes .She was always trying to get me out of the house and to socialise. If only she knew what i did in my spare time .The sound of a voice as sweet as honey caused me to snap out of my thoughts .I looked up to see none other then Brooklyn Hart walking towards us with her head held high and a bright smile on her face .Suddenly feeling extremely shy and self conscious I began to sneak away from the group .However soon enough I was met with the devilish face of Amelia .My bully since 3rd grade .The bullying started off as putting gum in my hair and annoying me but had progressively gotten worse since I became more shy and now had less friends to defend me .Suddenly regretting my decision to leave Aria I began to turn around .No sooner had I began walking when I felt a strong hand on my shoulder shoving me into the lockers causing me to fall, My book falling onto the floor.I quickly scrambled to grab them as I realised that one of my reminders for when I turn into makeshift was in there .

Amidst all the chaos I had failed to notice some shouting at Amelia.Presuming it was Aria I continued to collect my thing before looking up. However instead of being met with familiar brown eyes I was met with a gust if ginger hair and wild blue eyes .I recognised the person instantly. They were the same blue eyes I had admired in the past .The same ginger hair I had seen flying in the wind during cheer practise .It was none other then the queen bee .I looked left and right and realised we were alone in the corrider .
'Are you ok?'she asked me in a caring tone .
Not trusting my voice right now I have her a slow nod .She seemed to get the hint and she gave me kind smile
'Ignore Amelia she's a dick .I can't beleive I ever dated her '
Upon hearing that news I turned to face Brooklyn with a shocked expression
'I know I know the queen bee is bi it comes as a shock .I don't know why people make such a big deal out if it .' She suddenly turned to be with a panicked expression .'You aren't homophobic are you?!' She asked with a pout
I shook my head vigorously wishing I  had the courage to tell her I was actually gay
'Good 'she said relief evident in her voice .'Anyway I have to go sorry I have Science with Mr Ellis and he'll kill me if im late .See you around .'she said blowing me a kiss ,causing me to blush .

I slowly began walking to class as I processed what had just happened .Brooklyn had defended me ,and talked to me .I smiled to myself as I made my way down the hallway .Maybe next time I will actually be able to talk to ....
My thoughts were cut off by the sound of the fire alarm and the smell of smoke
