After avail the family was caught in a snowstorm. Perdy was leading from the front and Pongo and Y/n were at the back making sure everyone was accounted for. "Ninety-three, ninety-four, ninety-five, ninety-six, ninety-seven, ninety-eight..." Pongo counted the puppies as they trotted through the snow.

"Oh, Lucky! C'm on, Lucky boy. We can't give up now." Pongo said, before he picked up the frozen pup.

"I'm tired and I'm hungry and my tail's froze... and my nose is froze and my ears are froze. And my toes are froze." Lucky said, tiredly.

"Pongo! Pongo! Pongo! We'd just about lost hope. We have shelter for you... at the dairy barn across the road." a collie said, looking at the dairy barn.

"Oh, thank goodness. Perdy! Perdy! This way, Perdy. The dairy barn across the road." Pongo said, to Perdy.

"C'mon, kids. It's not far. C'mon, this way. Follow the collie." Pongo said, before going to grab Lucky. Y/n, the collie, and Perdy lead the puppies into the barn.

"Just look, Queenie. Have you ever seen so many puppies?" a cow asked another.

"Aren't they adorable!" a grey cow.

"Perfectly darling." a light brown cow said, as the puppies entered the barn.

"The poor dears. They 're completely worn out and half frozen!" a cream colored cow said.

"They all here, Pongo?" Y/n asked.

"Yes, dear. All 99 accounted for." Pongo said, putting Lucky down.

"The famous Pongos. We were so worried about you." the grey cow said.

"Been trying to reach you. Afraid you'd been captured." the collie said, explaining what they thought happened to Pongos.

"How did you make it all this way? And in such dreadful weather." the grey cow said.

"And with all those little ones." the light brown cow said.

"I'm hungry, Mother, mom. I'm hungry. I'm hungry too. Mother, mom, we're hungry. We're all hungry." the have frozen puppies said to their mothers

"I'm sorry, children." Perdy said, about to tell them that they have to wait till they find some food.
"Do they like warm milk? It's fresh."

"Where is it? Where is the milk?" the puppies asked, Perdy and Y/n.

"Come and get it, kids. It's on the house." The grey cow said.

"This way, children. Around this way. Don't crowd. You'll have to take turns." Perdy said, guiding the puppies to the milk.

"Rolly, wait your turn, dear." Y/n said, as Rolly tried to get the milk.

"Don't worry, kids. There's plenty for all. Ooh! The little darlings." the dark brown cow said.

"Pongo, a fews scraps I saved... for you and the missus." the collie said, giving the parents some food.

"Oh, thank you." pongo thanked the collie for the food.

"It's not much, but it might hold you as far as Dinsford." the collie said.

"Huh? Dinsford?" Pongo said, tired.

"There's a Labrador there. His pet is a grocer." the collie said, explaining who will meet them in Dinsford

"Oh, I... I'm sorry." Pongo apologized.

"Quite all right. Get some rest and don't worry. I'll be standing watch." the collie said, leaving the barn.

"I don't know what we'd have done if..." Perdy said, laying next to her lovers.

"We're honoured to be of service." the grey cow spoke.

"We're sorry we can't do more." the cream colored cow said.

"Anyone who would think of hurting these puppies..." the dark brown cow said, before the grey cow interrupted.

"Shh! Duchess!" the grey cow said.

"They're so dear. I wish they could stay with us for always." the cream colored cow said.

"Princess, shh." The grey cow said, shushing another.

"Quiet, everyone. Let them sleep, the poor things. They're so exhausted and they still have such a long way to go" the grey cow said, looking at the sleeping family.
