For those of you who have heard me whine about this moment and this chapter forever, but also for everyone else.

For many people, serenity can be the hardest feeling to experience out of them all. But at that very moment, Ivy couldn't describe the light sensation inside and around her as anything else.
On the wide riverbank, lying on a simple plad sheet, hearing the sounds of the town ahead, as well as the natural echos coming from all the green around her, it felt so quiet and sweet. But thinking about it more, she concluded that the main reason for her happiness right now, resided in the soft slender fingers that entertwined with hers.
Turning her head to the side, she laid eyes on the boy's figure laying next to hers. His short bangs were being gently swept away by the wind's force, exposing the entirety of Taeyong's handsome face. The sunlight wasn't doing her any favors as it accentuated his sharp facial structure, the high cheeckbones, the strong jaw, and every other precious angle on his face.
-"I am telling you now, I might blush if you keep looking at me like that.", Taeyong giggled in his usual windshield wiper way, painting a smile on the girl's face.
-"I am sorry. Sometimes, though, I keep on thinking..", Ivy's voice triled off along with her thoughts.
-"Think about what?", Taeyong now asked, turning his body to face her completely.
-"You know, just how coicidential things are sometimes. I mean, if you hadn't texted me that day, we wouldn't be here now. And I bet you didn't really think about it back then, that's all I'm saying.", she paused to leave a kiss on his cheeck. "I'm grateful really."
Taeyong's eyes shifted a little bit, stating his confusion and indecision. Still holding on Ivy's hand he sat up and let out a deep breath.
-"Well, I have to tell you, that thankfully, you didn't place that bet. It would have been a clear loss.", was all he could find himself saying, looking a bit timid all of a sudden.
Following his actions, Ivy sat up next to the boy, who would now avoid her gaze. "What do you mean by that?"
-"Well, I didn't tell you this before, because for one thing I was feeling super shy to talk about it, but also... I already liked talking to you so much and I didn't want to scare you away with this."
-"Scare me away with that exactly?", Ivy tried to ask calmly, even though she was extremely alarmed, creating all sorts of scenarios in her head.
-"I already liked you Ivy, from before. Even prior to the party when we... you know."
Feeling herself mentally crawl back to her shell, Ivy let go of his hand to hug her knees.
