What A Beautiful Dream

You opened your font door, holding your school bag.  You slowly stubbled in, closing the door behind you.

Thank God it was Sunday, it almost seemed like school would never end.

"Welcome home honey!" Your mom said, turning around from where she was washing dishes. She smiled at you, sponge and plate in hand.

"Thanks mom. " You replied, sleepily. You waved at her and displayed a weak, exhausted smile.

You soon kicked off your shoes, leaving them on the shoe rack. You had stayed up very late last night, later than usual, to finish some homework that you didn't do... You know, instead you streamed.

"Thank God it's the end of the week!" Your mom lifted the things in her hands a bit, chuckling.

"Yeahhh... " You rubbed your eye a bit before yawning.

"You should get some rest, unlike you ever rest when you need to. " She stated before going back to washing the dishes.

No matter how much you wanted to disprove her, she wasn't lying.

"M'k mom." You said before slowly heading off to your room.

You opened the door, immediately dropping your school bag and flopping over on your bed. You took in the moment, just laying there face first. Soon you rolled over, checking your phone.

Just a couple twitch notifications, but that was pretty much it. You would clear those up later.

You opened Twitter, a possible mistake, and scrolled through your home page.

You continued on-

You looked closer at your phone. Is that... Fan art? Of me?

It was a beautiful drawing of you standing on top of your new Minecraft base. You held an axe and wore snow gear.

You started freaking out, immediately retweeting it.

Soon you got a message. You quickly opened it happily.

Sir- Nope, there is no fucking way you aren't dreaming right now.

Dream: I really like your builds and I wanted to ask if you wanted to join the SMP?
Dream: We need some help with lore builds and I think you'd be perfect for the job

Sure you were better than average at building but... Dream SMP worthy?

You layed your phone on your chest, looking up at the ceiling.

This was unbelievable.

This seemed like something that could only happen in dreams, or in some distant future that you could never hope to achieve.

You quickly reached for your arm, pinching yourself.

You continued freaking out.

A ping came from your discord. You got up from your bed, sitting in your chair.

Alex: Stream today?
Oaks: No I don't stream with peasants
Alex: HOE-
Oaks: I'm on the dream smp now UwU
Alex: Wait really?-

You sent a quick cropped screen shot of your conversation with Dream.

Alex: YOOOOOO
Alex: DUDE I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU
Oaks: Wanna call?
Alex: SURE

You clicked the call button on the top of the screen, turning your camera on.

Alex soon entered the call, turning her camera on as well. "I'm so excited for you dude!" She said, astonishment on her smiling face.

You chuckled. "Thank you!" You said smiling as well. "This almost doesn't feel real, like some kind of... I don't know. "

"Dream?" She said with a smirk on her face.

"I already made that pun." (editor laughing in the distance)

"Oh."

The both of you started laughing your asses off.

Well, you both knew what your next stream would be.
