hi guys!!! I'm back!!! lmao it's been like weeks at this point but I'm very excited to update this book!! I've been getting the best feedback and it's given me so much motivation! anyways to the story!!

NIKI POV
7 months, 1 week, and 2 days. That's how long it's been since I've seen Wilbur in person. Everybody says that long distance relationships end bad. I really hope that isn't the case for me and Will.

I woke up to the timer on my phone, which had a rather haunting wake up alarm. Clicking the "stop" button, I scrolled through the notifications I had gotten on my phone. It was only 6:20, but I had several messages wishing me a happy birthday. Funny. I had just straight up forgotten that I turned 20. There were some messages from my online friends along with my parents and some irl friends. But I hadn't gotten one from Wilbur yet. The one who professed his love for me hasn't wished me a happy birthday. It was still early though, I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. I curled my hair a little bit, and added mascara so I'd look good on Instagram. Maybe that would remind Wilbur to wish me a happy birthday.

I got into my maid dress with the ears. Hopefully chat would like it. I went over to my office where I began my birthday stream. I got a lot of donations which made me happy but I still hadn't heard anything from Will. My mind kept going to Wilbur, so I ended the stream early after about 30 minutes.

It was only around 8:30 when I ended the stream, so I changed my clothes into something a bit more comfortable and headed downstairs to prepare some breakfast. My mind kept telling me to make something nice for my birthday but I just settled for a bowl of Cheerios.

Cheerios in hand, I made my way to my living room to watch something on Netflix. All the Netflix originals are so boring nowadays. I settling for a rewatch of Avatar the Last Airbender, starting from The Boy in The Iceberg.

My cats Toph and Zuko, named after the characters of the show I was watching, came to cuddle with me. Cats on my lap and Cheerios in hand, this could be a good, modest birthday. I laid my head back and closed my eyes peacefully, ready to nap for a little while. Hopefully I'd wake up in time to catch Yue, one of my favorite characters in Avatar.

Just as I was about to drift into a deep sleep, someone knocked on my door. Awfully loud.

I pushed Toph and Zuko away and got up to answer the visitor, neglecting my half eaten bowl of soggy cheerios.

I exhaled as a reminder not to get my hope up. It was most likely a package. I opened the door to be embraced in a tight hug before I knew what was happening. I opened my eyes that I had just realized had been closed and realized that it was Wilbur! He hadn't forgotten! Wilbur started spinning me around and I giggled vivaciously.

Will dropped me after a few seconds and I wiped a tear that I hadn't even noticed was there.

"Wilbur! I thought you'd forgotten!" Will grasped my hand and looked me in the eyes.

"How could I forget the most beautiful woman in the world's birthday?"

I felt a smile crawl across my face and wrapped my arms around Wilbur's neck, embracing him in a tight kiss. I think that this was the best birthday I've ever had.
