The Second Disease

The witches of their new coven were doing something wicked

It was just another day in Salem, Thomas was visiting Victoria while she was working. He was making her an invitation to go dinner with him and his family. Victoria said yes and continued her day. She also saw Jeremiah. She told him that she was pregnant and he told her that she was on her own. Victoria needed to think very carefully her next actions

During her visit to the coven they were teaching them about sacrifices. And they asked to perform one. Victoria saw a window. 

One bad thing about 1666 is that there was not many books about magic, they had to find out for themselves about this magic. The girls sacrificed babies, that they stole. Victoria could not do that so she decided to sacrifice the one that was on her guts. She hurted a little bit but she was fine. She did not love the lections that they were giving to them, because it make her realize that what they were saying in town was true. She was with the idea of being a witch because some days before she did not even believe in them. She was reconstructing her whole believe system and she was full of doubts about everything. 

At dinner with Thomas she had the loveliest time. His parents were very charming and she liked the idea of being in a family that was good and not bad like hers. The Greens loved her , she was charming and promising and she really made Thomas smile. Maybe a true love is about happiness. 

When Thomas and Victoria said goodbye to their evening. He went inside and he convinced his parents to let him marry her. Saying that he would own that terrain and that would be good business. Plus he would have so pretty children with Victoria. Victoria had no idea about this. 

Victoria went to the coven with her friends and the sacrifices continued. She was getting sick of it. She did not want to be a witch anymore. It was no good and it could get her killed. 

The night followed and from the next morning the chaos arrived. A new wave of sickness that no one knew what was happening. Helena got sick again, very sick. Victoria did not know what to do and after talking with Amy they both decided to sacrifice what they loved the most. Amy would sacrifice her nanny who was like a second mother to her. 

Victoria was so impulsive and if she gave it more thought she would have probably done something different. She decided to fool the darkness and "sacrifice" Thomas. She would poision  him and give him an elixir to save him. She would not even write his name in the book of sacrifices because he would not die. 

She did that, she gave him the elixir and she left running to see her sister saved. And when she get back Thomas would be alive. 

But when Victoria got to be with her sister she was already dead and that distracted her. Natasha hugged her , Victoria could not stop crying. A part of her had died that night. When she went to see Thomas, she saw an empty elixir bottle and not a drop on his body, she had killed him. 

Victoria could not stop crying she felt gulty and emptyness. There are no words to describe the feeling that Victoria felt because she had nothing. She realized in that moment how much she loved him and how little she cared about Jeremiah. 

At his funeral she was hopeless and she cried and cried next to his coffin. 

After those two funerals Victoria got home with her sister Natasha. Her father was drunk as usual but they had a very unusual talk. 

When Victoria found out that he had wasted on alcohol everything and the money for Helena she said to him

-YOU PROMISED... IF SHE WAS ALIVE SHE WOULD NEVER HAVE A BETTER LIFE, SHE WOULD BE DAMNED LIKE THE REST OF US. FOR THE STUFF YOU HAVE DONE. IT IS GOOD THAT SHE IS DEAD BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO LIVE THIS MISERABLE LIFE

-Victoria, I am your father. You need to bring honor back to the family everyone thinks that you are cursed and maybe you are

-I HAVE TO BRING HONOR? NO, YOU NEED TO STOP DRINKING AND DOING SOMETHING. YOU ARE THE SCUM OF THIS FAMILY AND WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT

-I AM YOUR FATHER AND I WILL NOT HAVE YOU SPEAKING ME LIKE THAT

-WE HAVE NOT FUTURE, WE WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS PLACE. 

-You will, you will marry Mr. Ronald 

-Who the hell is Mr. Ronald

-My friend, he is paying good money for you

-YOU ARE SELLING ME? YOU DAUGTHER? IF MOTHER WAS HERE SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW IT

-Oh please father do it, I want to see how this one goes- Natasha

-PLEASE FATHER DO NOT, I WILL LET YOU ABUSE ME, I WILL DO ANYTHING BUT DO NOT. 

-It is already done, Victoria. 

Victoria married Mr. Ronald and he abused her for months. She let it happen because of her guilty. Her friends told her to stop but she could not, she felt so sorry about the dead of Thomas. She felt that bad that she stole his body and put it on the woods with the hope that one day she could bring him back with magic. 

Those months went by and everything got worse. Gyselle was mistreated by Gyselle and Victoria promised her that she would buy her again. Natasha put a price so high that Victoria needed to save money in order to save her friend from her sister. The life of everyone in Salem continued. Amy , Cecil and Elisee were living their lifes. Cecil was enchanting her mom so she would not marry her with a man who apparently had no desire for her and other women. Cecil did not wanted to marry. She enchanted her for months and everytime she wanted more. The darkness of Salem was reaching them. 

One day as usual Victoria visited her sister place in the cementery and continued to cry. A woman with white hair who called herself Whitney arrived and said to Victoria

-You have cried for too long

It was the night and the 666 witches were in the woods waiting for the night hearing with the witches. The coven games were coming close, and the witches had been the whole day preparing them. They had the witches who would play and at the end of the games new witches would enter to their coven. They were the oldest witches in all Salem so they had some reputation. They were feared and respected. They had told them all the terrible things they have done to preserve that fear and respect. At the council they encouraged the young witches and showed them their age face that was scary. 

The next morning the games of the coven started, it is not a surprise that those coven did not like the 666 witches but it was something they had to do, it was an agreement after the coven wars to reach that way peace. 

Victoria went to work and there she found a little girl that was lost, she did not call the police because she did not trust it. While all the witches were busy Gyselle and Cecil had to supervise the games and it was not favorable. Of course the only one that care to win was Victoria and at her own way she was right. They needed to win to show everyone that their coven was the strongest and more powerful. Victoria visited the white high witch at the woods. 

If it was Victorias will she would help the witches at the games but it was againts the rules and she had to respect them because she was there when they were written. 

At the end of the day Victoria came home with the girl whose mom left at her practice office. She knew it was not her best idea but the street is not place for children. She was not the kind of witch that harmed children because she was very maternal and even if she cant have children she always desired, but she always did what was right. She thought what is the harm if she stays for the night.
