It Has Always Been You!

Jungkook made himself comfortable in front of Taehyung in the same position he sat before. Kneeling, with his hands on Taehyung's lap.

"It has always been you! Whatever I have done, all of it was just for you, Taehyung! Just to protect you!"

"What have you done Jungkook speak clearly! Please!"

Jungkook ignored Taehyung's question and continued in a soft tone.

"I love you Taehyung. So so much. I've loved you since High School. We were such a good group of friends then. Me, you, Jisoo, Hoseok and Jimin. But then we came to college. Rosè, Yoongi, Lisa and Jennie became part of our group. God! And right from then, I saw the change. I saw how some of them hurt you, hurt your feelings. I couldn't bear it you know?"

Jungkook paused and Taehyung noticed the change of expression on Jungkook's face. His soft features, became dark.

"I knew I had to do something. I knew I had to protect you, because no one was able to do so, rather your group of friends just ended up hurting you. And I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't let your own people hurt you like that. So I vowed to myself to protect you, no matter how."

"But the weird thing is, I didn't have this determination of protecting you after all the incidents that hurt you. Rather just one incident, which was beginning of all this. That is what made me vow." Jungkook's voice was becoming darker and darker.

"I mean, how could Jimin, our oldest friend do that to you? How could he not trust you? Okay maybe Yoongi had also become our very good friend from second year, but I thought he was smart. How did he end up believing that motherfucker Jackson, and not you? Tsk. That was it. That incident showed me how good our friends were. And that was the time I decided to take things in my hand."

Taehyung just sat there listening to whatever Jungkook had to say. He felt like his brain was buzzing and he couldn't take anymore information, but he kept himself steady. Because he wanted to hear all of Jungkook's story. But after hearing Jimin and Yoongi's story, he spoke up.

"But I forgave them for their mistake! You know that!"

"That is the problem with you Taehyung. You are too good. You let people hurt you and then forgive them which may or maynot give them another chance to hurt you. But I wasn't going to let that happen Taehyung. So I made a plan. In the second year, I decided that whoever is going to hurt you, they will meet their end in the last year of our college. And so, here we are."

Everything was becoming clear to Taehyung. He didn't want to think of what Jungkook did, but he knew he had to. He had face it. He had to ask.

"S-So it was you? It was you who killed Jimin and Yoongi?!"

"Don't say killed. It sounds so harsh. I removed them. For you! They were threats to you Taehyung. All of them. Those two faced bitches."

"But Jungkook I loved them. I loved all of you. You all were my family! How could you do this?!"

"You don't require such snake of a family Taehyung, who show they love you but end up hurting you!"

"T-then was that you who killed Lisa too!?"

"Yes."

"What did Lisa ever do to me?! Why did you kill her?!"

Jungkook was silent for a few seconds. He removed his gaze from Taehyung and looked down.

"What happened Jungkook?! Tell me! Why did you kill Lisa?"

Jungkook slowly lifted his eyes to Taehyung's. His gaze was unreadable.
