It was the second day of their trip. The students were given the liberty to go on their own and roam around. They could go anywhere they wanted. They just would have to show a band which every student was given.

As expected the eight friends packed up together, set out to wander around the place. The first thing that caught their eye was a restaurant. So they decided to have their lunch there. The restaurant was not very big, it was a cozy restaurant with an old couple as it's owner.

Since they quite didn't know what places to go, they decided to ask the couple after having their lunch. The couple told them about the museum which they had already visited. Then they said there was a Buddhist temple a little before the beautiful dark forest of the hill.

"There is another place... but I don't think I should tell you that." The old woman said.

"What is it? Please tell us." Jisoo insisted.

"I mean I can tell you but I think you kids shouldn't go there."

"Why? What is this place?" Taehyung asked.

"Well it's an abandoned house a little deep inside the forest. And there are quite a few stories surrounding that house you know?" She said with her voice a bit low as if she was telling a secret.

She paused and they waited for her to continue.

"Please don't give such long pauses after each sentence." Yoongi said shrugging.

The lady furrowed her eyesbrows at Yoongi.

"Please don't mind him, you continue." Rosé said glaring at Yoongi.

The lady continued -
"The house has been empty for fifty years after the last family who lived there left it abandoned. They hadn't said any exact reason as to why they left the house, but it is heard that there are things that still live there."
She said the last part in a whisper.

Almost everyone was looking pale after listening to the little tale the grandma said. Well except Jungkook and Jennie, they were listening with bright eyes.

"Don't scare the kids like that dear." The old man said.

"What? It's true!" The old woman said turning to her husband.

"Well can we go there?" Jennie asked excitedly.

"You can actually. Nobody goes near the house, maybe because of it's rumors or because they don't have any reason to go there." The old woman said.

"There is no lock?" Jungkook asked.

"No it's open all the time because of course there is nothing in the house to keep it locked except a few furnitures maybe." She said.

They all came out of the restaurant and were deciding where to go first.

"Please!! I wanna go to that house!" Jennie whined.

"It can be dangerous." Jimin said sounding a bit scared.

"Aww is Jimin scared of ghosts?" Jungkook said mockingly.

Jimin punched Jungkook's side in a playful way.

"I think it's gonna be fun." Yoongi said.

"There you go we got another member who is interested!" Jennie said clapping her hands.

"Ok ok so we will go there but only on one condition." Jisoo said.

"Nobody can force us to go inside if we don't want to, but we will wait outside until you all come out." Jisoo said wisely.

"I don't think we have any problem agreeing to that, do we?" Jennie asked looking at Jungkook and Yoongi.

They shook their head indicating no.

So it was decided and they were on there way to the forest. They had a pleasant walk on the narrow roads of the hill and as the old woman had said, there was a Buddhist temple on their way to the forest. But they didn't stop to visit the temple and continued walking towards the forest.

The forest was dense, snow covered cone trees, bird chirping around them and the sun covered in light clouds. It was freezing but still the cold and fresh air of the forest refreshed them. The air had a unique sweet smell which made them feel warm even in the cold.

After walking for like fifteen minutes, at a distance they could see an old, a little wrecked two storied wooden house. The colour of the house had faded away and it was the colour of moss and grey, probably from the rain and snow.

The eight of them stood near the house looking at it with their eyes wide. One could tell that the house, was once really beautiful but due to lack of maintenance it was looking like a haunted house.

As decided the five of them stood outside while Jungkook, Yoongi and Jennie walked towards the two steps of the house.

Jennie placed a foot on the first step cautiously maybe fearing it to break, but it just creaked a little. She opened the front door and entered the house followed by the two boys. Jennie pushed Jungkook to walk in front and she stayed close to Yoongi.

The house was better from the inside. The windows were all broken so the outside light was flooding in the room. They were currently standing in the living room on a huge rug, which one could tell was once red but now it was a shabby maroon. There was only one old arm chair by the fire place, but the rest of the room was empty. There was a stair case at a little distance and beside the staircase was another huge room which supposedly was the kitchen com dinning room considering the slabs on one side.

They walked up the stairs and there was a corridor with three rooms, two on the left and one on the right. The room on the right was at the back side of the house and was the biggest one. They looked at the forest from the window of the room and it gave a pretty view of the forest.

They went to the two rooms on the left and from those windows they could see their friends standing outside the house. They waved at them from the windows. The three rooms did not have even one single furniture in them, so having nothing more to do, they decided to leave the house.

When they were going to walk out Jungkook noticed a door beside the staircase which they probably had not noticed before. And as the curious souls they were, they opened the door.

It was dark but they could see stairs in front of them which where going down. Jennie turned on her phone's light and held it in front. She found a switch on the right wall of the stairway. And when she switched it on, to their surprise the whole staircase lit up. The light on the ceiling was still working which was very unlikely.

They slowly creeped down the stairs and again Jennie had to switch on her light when they reached the landing because it was dark in front of them.

Jennie moved the light in the room and they understood it was the beasement seeing the cardboard boxes filled with dust. They entered the area and realized it was quite big. Yoongi had found another switch and switched it on. The room lit up in a golden light. They looked up to see a bulb hanging from the top. They also noticed on one side there was a wooden table which probably was a dining table and four wooden chairs upside-down on top of it.

After they were done they came out and told the other's whatever they saw. So basically the house wasn't a haunted one, just it was old which gave it the creepy look.

They took some time walking in the forest before eventually returning to their hotel which was not very far from the forest. They were all tired from the long walks so as soon as they completed their chores they went to bed.
