the arrival

August 1995
Hogwarts : School of Witchcraft and Wizardary

Lisa regained consciousness in an unfamiliar place, not to mention highly uncomfortable. Something, maybe several somethings, were digging in her skin at numerous places making her skin tinge as she groaned in discomfort, turning on her side as she finally snapped her eyes open.

The first thing she saw was darkness before she blinked several times until her eyes adjusted to it and she recognised the place she was in to be a forest, not to mention a very dark and scary one.

She slowly pulled herself in a standing position, her eyes roaming around for any sign of visible infrastructure as her ears picked up the strange, and horrifyingly dangerous, sounds of various animals coming from all directions.

She gulped in fear, taking a step forward, but regretting it instantly as a twig snapped under her feet.

She shut her eyes in alarm, waiting for the impact to come, for some wild animal to attack her, but it never came as she took a sigh of relief and cautiously looked around.

What was she doing in a creepy forest? Last she remembered she was reading Harry Potter and then..... 'oh! that bright light!'.

'Maybe it's just a dream' she thought to herself, even pinching herself for checking but she felt the pain of pinching that made her frown.

She licked her lip in contemplation, looking around worriedly.

She really is stuck in a forest, and she doesn't even have her phone to contact her parents!

But, how did she reach here in the first place? She doesn't even remember leaving her room, let alone reach this faraway forest! Her head was spinning, everything felt more real than ever as she heard a twig snap and turned around in horror, her eyes widening as she saw a pair of blue eyes staring back at her.

She was unable to even trace the figure of the animal, it was so dark that the only thing she could see were those sharp blue eyes.

She took a step back, but it didn't react, making her sigh in relief. She took another step back, it still didn't react. Another step, no reaction. Another one, but this time it growled lowly making her eyes go wide.

She gulped nervously, eyes scanning her surroundings as she hesitantly took another step back, but it didn't react giving her the exact chance she was waiting for, to run away.
