The next day the Warrens, along with Arne and Malthus, arrive at the Perron family's farmhouse to see what exactly the family was dealing with.
Reagan had to admit the home itself was probably very beautiful when it was first built, and some of its original beauty was still there but it was now hidden beneath the rot and decay that built up over it's years of being abandoned.
As they walked up to the house Malthus immediately was on edge. He could feel several spirits that were attached to this place but the strongest was causing him to be defensive because of the hatred he felt rolling from it in waves. He could faintly hear it mutter about his Reagan and Arne's powers and how it wanted them for itself, but it was smart enough to give Malthus and his two humans a wide enough birth to avoid the much more powerful and terrifying demon.
While Reagan and Arne were no longer effected by Malthus' appearance, anyone else, human or otherwise, likely would've turned and run screaming bloody murder at the sight of him(to his eternal amusement of course). Malthus resembled that of a typical demon you'd likely see whenever you looked up 'demon' on a computer. He was an all black ram-like humanoid demon with white (sometimes yellow or green) eyes and four horns. The horns that appear near his forehead resembled goat like horns, while the other two curved horns, resembled ram like horns. Malthus had razor sharp teeth, yellow sharp claws on his hands and feet, and his body that resembled a thin humanoid. He also had a black goatee on his chin and black hair in between his more goat-like horns.
Reagan and Arne could both see and feel Malthus' agitation at whatever was tormenting the family, and they knew immediately that something was very very wrong at the farmhouse.
That much was now beyond any shadow of a doubt.Lorraine knocks cordially on the door, and Carolyn is quick to answer and let them inside. The subtle temperature difference is automatically felt by the demon and his two humans who were the only ones wearing short sleeves.
"Thanks for coming." Her husband walks into the room and puts out his hand for them to shake, introducing himself as Roger."Lorraine and Ed Warren. Reagan, our eldest daughter. And this is Arne Johnson." Ed introduces themselves as the two teenagers and their demon begin to scope out the house further with their powers, already catching a glimpse of the parasite-like entity that latched itself on the family.
It's presence was most predominantly felt around Carolyn before it promptly fled from the growling demon beside Reagan.Lorraine too, starts looking around the house, trailing after Reagan and Arne who had already moved to the living room.
The others walk into the living room, seeing five girls of various ages.
Reagan looks at them all, then looking down at the youngest one in the very front who was holding some sort of antique-looking music box.
