Dear Henry, I Look Like My Mother(Pt. 3)...

A/N- Here is the last part to the story that I've been writing. I hope you guys enjoy it.
Charlotte's POV-
It was winter break of senior year and I was running to the final ice match of the winter. Our friend group takes this really seriously. Boys play each other then the girls play each other. Henry and I started this tradition in kindergarten where we would play each other every weekend of winter break. Obviously I won. I'm pretty good. I finally get to the lake and everyone is watching the boys play hockey. This is the only lake in swell view that freezes over super thick. No one falls in. Thank goodness. I walk over to the girls and I see that Rachel is keeping score.
Charlotte: Hey new bro.
Jasper: Hey!
Charlotte: Henry is still my favorite.
Jasper: Of course he is.
He skates away.
Charlotte: So Rachel what's the score.
Rachel: I don't know.
Charlotte: You haven't been keeping score?
Rachel: Nope. Oh! Did you see that Henry looked right at me and smiled.
I laughed.
Rosie: You're delusional.
Rachel: Rachel Hart.
Charlotte: Okay so who are the team captains?
Rachel: Henry!
I write down Henry's name.
Charlotte: And?
Rachel: That's all I know.
I shake my head and continue to keep score on the game. Then Jasper fall right I front of us.
Rachel: Really?
We all laughed as he skated away again. All the sudden Mitch comes up and skates hard on the ice so that Rosie would get it all over her.
Rosie: Okay! Woah!
They both laughed.
Taylor: Looks like Mitch has taken a liking to you Rosie.
Jayden: I'm still trying to make my peace with it.
Taylor: With what?
Rachel: That Rosie my become her sister.
Jayden: In-law. Sister in law.
Penelope: She'll be my sister too and you don't here me complaining do you?
Oh that's right if they get married Rosie my become the sister of Jeff, Mitch, Bysh, Billy, Jayden, and Penelope. That's a huge family. I wouldn't worry about it though because they just have a little crush on each other doesn't mean they'll get married. They are only 18. But then again they're insane. Just then Henry skated up to us.
Henry: I thought Rachel was keeping score.
I try to began to explain but Taylor starts to talk.
Taylor: She's busy staring at a certain someone.
I nodded and he looks weirded out and skates away.
Rachel: Taylor! Why you do that?
Taylor: As if he didn't know.
Charlotte: She has a point.
A Few Days Later...
I wake up and remember that it's my birthday. I'm 18! All the sudden I hear someone screaming my name.
Rachel's POV-
I ran to Charlotte's house and stopped trying to get into character. Her brother was reading a book on a beach a couple of meters away.
Rachel: CHARLOTTE!
I started to run to her house. All the girls are there hiding already. Jasper closes his book and runs to my side.
Rachel: CHARLOTTE!
Jasper: What? What happened? Are you alright?
Rachel: This doesn't concern you. CHARLOTTE!
Jasper: What's happening?
Rachel: Go away! Leave me alone.
Jasper: Did something bad happen?
I pulled him behind tree.
Rachel: It's a prank. For Charlotte's birthday. Now play along for going away.
Jasper: Okay fine.
We start to run again screaming her name. She came out worried.
Jasper: Her parents are dead!
Charlotte: What?!
Rachel: Jasper! That's not true I got a text from your mom that she's hurt. Come on.
We run inside and the girls are sitting at my table and yell surprise!
Charlotte: Oh my goodness! Thank you guys!
I got and sit down and began to eat with them.
A Couple of Convocations Later...
Charlotte: An then Jasper yells "Her parents are dead!"
We all laughed.
Rachel: He almost ruined the whole thing.
Rosie: Boys are ridiculous.
Charlotte: Can't disagree.
Jayden: Someone and by someone I mean Taylor has a two boy problem.
Taylor: It's not a problem.
We all laugh. Penelope just graduated last year. She's a freshman in college so I decided to ask her about it.
Charlotte: So how's college Penelope?
Penelope: Really fun. It's been really amazing. I can't wait till you guys come.
Charlotte: You guys ready for our last semester of school.
Rosie: Yeah but I'm really going to miss you guys.
Charlotte: We're going to miss you too.
1 week later...
It was our first day back from school and right before we all walked in we saw a list of boys names and the names across from them of the girls they like.
Charlotte: Look Rosie. Mitch wrote down your name.
Rosie: Okay whatever.
Rachel walks up and see that Henry's name has no girl name.
Rachel: I'm so confused. We're of age now but Henry hasn't made any advances yet.
Jayden: What about all the guys in queens.
Rachel: It's not the same.
Charlotte: It's okay, Rachel. I'll help you. I'll go and ask him.
Rachel: You will? Okay let's go.
I walk up to Henry while Rachel subtle watches us talk. Unfortunately she can't hear what we're saying but I can tell her what he said once I go sit down.
Charlotte: Hey.
Henry: Hey.
Charlotte: Have you noticed the take notice paper?
Henry: Take notice paper?
Charlotte: Yeah. It's a paper outside when you write a girls name down to let her know when you taken notice.
Henry: An ask out before a proper ask out?
Charlotte: Exactly.
Henry: And you're suggesting I post?
We stare at each other for a second. Wait what's happening. Henry smiles.
Charlotte: If your interested in Rachel you should ask her out before someone else does.
His smile fades and he nods his head a little.
Henry: Oh. Thank you but I'm not a take notice kind of guy.
The teacher walks in and I go sit down at my seat.
Rachel: Did you see that?
Charlotte: I'm sorry he's not going to-
Rachel: His eyes were so filled with love I almost died then and there.
Charlotte: They were?
Rachel: Yes. I think he's waiting to ask me out in a more private setting.
Charlotte: If you say so Rachel.
2 weeks later...
Henry's POV-
I've been letting Blake and Alexandra stay in my house with us until they get on there feet. But it's been pretty stressful. It's been two weeks since Alexandra got sick. I'm just thankful Piper and Mom are okay with letting them stay but She has to get better so I brought over my mentor of medics, Kellen to take a look at her. Blake is a little worried. He walked out and looked at both of us.
Kellen: I'm sorry. She has a infection in her kidney. I get her 2 days at most.
Henry: Okay. Thank you.
This is awful. I walk into the room and she's laying in bed. I sat down and stared to text Charlotte to come over right away.
Alexandra: So? How long till he mails the medication to the house?
Henry: He's not going to mail anything.
Alexandra: So I just have to let the sickness pass then?
Henry: He gives you two weeks. Till you-
I couldn't finish.
Alexandra: Oh. Are you sure?
Henry: There's nothing we can do.
Alexandra: Hey. It's okay. Henry can you give me on last wish?
Henry: Of course anything.
Alexandra: Do you love your girlfriend?
Henry: I don't know.
Alexandra: You don't know? Listen to me Henry. Make sure you marry for love. Only for love.
Blake walked in and I walked into the kitchen and started to choke up. I ran outside to find Charlotte and she was running up to my house a couple of seconds away. I met up with her.
Charlotte: What happened?
Henry: It's Alexandra she's dying.
Charlotte: Oh my god.
Henry: I mean I had to tell her that- I mean I had to tell her she was- I could find the words and I made it worse.
Charlotte: Would she have been happy with some dispassionate delivery.
Charlotte's POV-
I grab his shoulder and he turned to me.
Charlotte: I hope you never have to do something like that again but I don't think you'll be able to avoid it. People will come to you Henry and bring there loved ones and everyone they hold dear to see a doctor that cares just as much as they do. You will be a wonderful doctor. It's okay.
He smiles at me and we walk closer to the house and see Blake staring at us. After a few seconds he went back inside sadly. Henry started to cry. I looks at him and then he starts to ball. I then hugged him tightly. After a few seconds he hugs back just as tightly.
1 week later...
It's been a week since Alexandra died. Blake is okay. Okay as you can be. Henry is still sad. He said that she was like a sister to him because Blake was his "brother." It was a couple weeks till prom and everyone is freaking out because everyone was saying they can't dance. It was a carnival/prom because next week there is supposed to be a huge storm so we had to move the carnival. Only juniors and seniors can dress in fancy dresses. I have no idea what I'm going to wear but since everyone is stressing about not knowing how to dance. Ms. Collins moved all the tables to the side of the room and we practiced all day. We danced to fast songs and slow songs but something was happening during one of the fast songs. I couldn't hear any background noice. I couldn't hear music. I couldn't hear anything expect my beating heart. I have no idea what was going on. Me and Henry smiled at each other and just kept dancing. Like we were the only two people on earth. Just then class was over and I bolted out the door like I had just seen ghosts. Henry walked the other way to his house. I hear foot steps and I turn around thinking it was Henry.
Charlotte: Look we-
It was Caden.
Charlotte: Oh. Caden.
Caden: Good to see you Charlotte. Did you like the dancing class today?
Charlotte: No I didn't.
Caden: Well you seem to be a natural at it.
Charlotte: Not really. I have a thousand things I rather spend my time doing instead of participating in that...fr..fripery.
He looked away with awkwardness.
Charlotte: How could you possibly not agree?
Caden: I'm worried for you is all.
Charlotte: Worried for me? Why?
Caden: Well your very emotional. That can prevent you from having children in the future.
Charlotte: I don't understand.
Caden: You didn't know. An over active mind can cause women to be barren.
Oh My God. That's can't be true. I mean I don't know everything but I say I know enough to have a 4.0 GPA. Right?
Henry's POV-
I was pealing carrots while Blake was working on his job in the kitchen.
Blake: So why did Ms. Collins make you guys dance?
Henry: Everyone didn't really know how to dance. So she showed them.
Blake: Oh.
Henry: I don't...I don't understand it.
Blake: What? Understand the logic of dancing? I thought you were a lot smarter than that.
Henry: No, not that. If I-
He looked at me waiting for the question.
Henry: If I feel something...for a girl..does that mean that she's the one that I should marry?
Blake chuckled.
Blake: Not necessarily, Hart. Attraction yes is important but love. That's what truly matters.
Henry: Says the guy who proposed to a girl who he's only known for 5 minutes.
Blake laughs.
Blake: Love is more important, Hart. Does that make sense?
Henry: I think so.
Blake: So, do you mind telling me who this girl is.
Henry: Oh, I mind.
Blake: Yeah?
Henry: Yeah.
Blake: How about now?
Henry: Nope.
1 Day Later...
Charlotte's POV-
Me and Rachel were walking to her house and talking. I decided to tell her about Caden's theory.
Charlotte: Then he said that I'm emotional. I honestly don't believe it.
Rachel: Me neither. You can't believe anything Caden says cause he's insane.
Charlotte: Noted.
Rachel sighed.
Rachel: I love being a woman.
I smiled and we laughed.
Rachel: I can walk the rest of the way home.
Charlotte: Okay. But your home is through the woods.
Rachel laughed and went into the woods and I started walking home.
Rachel's POV-
I was a couple miles into the wood when I heard footsteps.
Rachel: Hello?
Then I saw him. Jasper.
Rachel: Ugh. Jasper you scared me.
Jasper: Sorry.
Rachel: What are you doing out here anyway.
Jasper: I like doing my homework on that rock back there.
Rachel: Oh.
Jasper: Can I walk you home?
Rachel: Yeah. Sure.
He walked me all the way home and we talked the whole time. It was kinda nice. He asked me about my crush on Henry and my family. I loved walking with him.
1 Day Later...
Charlotte's POV-
Before school starts me and my friends minus Jasper and my best friend Henry are talking.
Rosie: Animals don't think. They just do.
Rachel: Maybe that's why animals have offspring so easily. Wait-
Charlotte: Then maybe Caden's right and emotional girls can't have kids.
Rachel: Emotional?!
Jayden: Then you definitely aren't pregnant Rachel.
Rachel: I don't want to be barren.
Rosie: How do you think babies are made?
Are these girls serious? Even I know that.
Taylor: Maybe it has something to do with walking home.
Rachel: Walk home? But there's no touching.
Charlotte: Guys? That's not it. I'll explain later since apparently your parent never did.
Rachel: Okay but what if I can't have kids.
Taylor: Charlotte? Ask Henry he wants to be a doctor.
Henry walks out of the school.
Charlotte: No. No. No. No. Nnnnnooo.
They push me towards him.
Henry: Uh, hello?
Rachel: Ask him.
Charlotte: Ah, is it true. That women of passion and emotion are doomed to be infertile? Is that-?
Henry chuckle while saying um.
Henry: There's nothing that I've seen in my medical experience that would leave me to believe that. So, no.
Oh thank god.
After school...
Me and Rachel are walking home again when she told me she can walk the rest of the way. Why is she doing this? We always walk the whole way. But I let her go anyway.
Rachel's POV-
I was looking around for Jasper.
Jasper: Are you looking for me?
Rachel: No.
I blushed.
Rachel: Are you waiting for me?
Jasper: No.
Jasper: Hey, yesterday you told me you loved to read so I got you my favorite book.
He handed it to me.
Rachel: Oh my goodness. Thank you.
Jasper: Ready?
Rachel: Yup.
Jasper: Lead the way.
Charlotte's POV-
Later That Night...
Me and my girl friends minus Penelope vexing she's at college are running to the back of my backyard which is actually quite a long run because my backyard is pretty big. I'm so glad they told me that the were joking about them not knowing how to have kids. I didn't think they were that dumb. We ran to a fire ready to began our ceremony.
Charlotte: Okay. Let's say the oath. MY DEAR ANGELS...
Taylor: Our heavenly bodies belong souly to us.
Rachel: We shall choose whom to love and to whom we share trust.
Rosie: We shall walk upon this earth we grace and respect.
Jayden: We shall always take pride in our great intellect.
Rachel: We shall honor our desires so our spirits my soar.
Rosie: And shall any man belittle us...
Everyone: WE'LL SHOW HIM THE DOOR!
Charlotte: Our spirts are unbreakable. Our imaginations free. So help me goddess...
Everyone: SO BLESSED OUR WE!
We all run around the fire cheering and yelling. We all then see Rachel walking away facing the moon and falling to her knees. We all walk toward her.
Rosie: Rachel?
Charlotte: Rachel? What's wrong?
She looks up at everyone with tears in her eyes.
Rachel: How I love being a woman.
Everyone smiles and I start screaming again.
1 week later...
Charlotte's POV-
It was carnival/prom now. Everyone can go in the build but the people who aren't juniors or seniors can't wear dresses. I kinda love the prom and the carnival are combined. I'm a senior so I can wear a dress so...
