Chapter 2

OC POV
I stared up to the sky. It was so beautiful. I've never seen it like this. "Where are we going?" I asked out load.

"Oh. We're going the Candy Kingdom so PB can help you."

"Okay." I replied to the white hat one. I need to know their names. "My name is July. What's yours?"

"I'm Finn and this is Jake."

"Hey." Jake said.

"Who's PB?" I asked.

"Princess Bubblegum."

I decided to be quiet for the rest of the way. Everything was so confusing. I just looked at Finn. He was carrying a sword, a green backpack, and for some reason he wore that hat. I wonder if he didn't like his hair. I loved it. Is that weird? No, it couldn't be.

We pasted a giant tree that had a house and... boat? There's a boat in a tree. I saw Finn run to the house. Did he live here? Oh my glob he does. These two went from being "okay" to special.

JAKE POV
She was still tense feeling. I wonder why she was so stressed.

"Finn why did you go inside?" I asked him.

He held up snacks. "SNACKS BOI."

"Aw yea." I stretched my arm so we could fist bump.

We continued our way to the Candy Kingdom. The sun was so bright and the air smelled so good. Maybe I should take Lady out if it's still nice. Hehe yeah.

I saw Finn was walking slower. "Hey man, are you tired?" I asked. Finn nodded his head, so I stretched my arm out to pick him up then I putted him on my back at July's feet. "Make sure to give July some room Finn," I said that just to mess with Finn.

"Jake," Finn mumbled to me.

I just laughed.

FINN POV
She looked pretty tired, and she was pale. Has she ever been out of that house? She looked... human, but she did that crazy plant junk. She was probably some wizard or something bananas like that.

Should I talk?

"Why do you wear that hat?" She asked.

I jumped a little, because I didn't expect her to ask me something.

"I'm not sure. Something that just... happened. Ya know?"

"No I don't think I know. That's why I asked."

I had a small chuckle and realized she was serious by the look on her face. I looked closer at her. Thick, curly hair. Rosy cheeks. What are you staring at her for, Finn? That's just weird.

"Do you know any songs?" She asked.

"Well, I usually just make them up."

"Oh okay."

"Why were you in that house?"

"Finn, that's rude." Jake scolded me over his shoulder.

"I don't find it rude," she continued, "I liked it there, no real point of leaving. I had pretty much everything I could want."

I nodded. Doesn't really make sense yet. Maybe she escaped her kingdom and princess duties. I would just have to wait until we got to PB. She would know what's going on.

OC POV
It seemed like years, but we finally made it to... Dandy Wildom? I don't remember, and thank glob I got off Jake. He was warm and mushy, I was starting to sweat. Also, I got Finn looking at me sometimes. Maybe I was so strange he couldn't help but stare.
