Chapter 4

JAKE POV
"PB this is sooo wrong!" I looked at the princess. She just shrugged! "Oh my glob PB! Stop acting like it isn't a huge deal!"

"It isn't though Jake. It's just part of life."

I wanted to smack her... I wouldn't do that to a princess though. I just sighed and thought what to say. "PB, if you were July's age and you had to make babies with a boy you just met, would you?"

"If it meant saving my species, yes."

"GAHG! PB why are you being so difficult?"

PB smacked her lips then rolled her eyes. "You're the one who's being difficult Jake."

That's it. I'm just going to leave before I end up punching her. PB never would get a punch from me, but this is serouis biz! She thinks this is okay?! I can't imagine what those two are going through. "I'll see you later PB." I said in my moopy voice, then walked down the hallway to wait outside the room Finn and July were in. Finn was already outside.

"Hey Finn! Why are you out here?" I stretched over to Finn and sat next to him.

Finn looked pretty bummed. He showed me his face, and there was a huge red mark on his cheek.

"Woah what happened man?"

"I asked her how she felt about all this and she slapped me." Finn sighed and rubbed his cheek. "Girls are bananas."

"Hehe yeah I guess they are."

Finn looked like he was gonna cry. "Oh bud, don't let it get to you like that." I stretched and wrapped my arms around Finn. Finn sniffed and mumbled something. Finn hadn't been this upset since FP. Poor kid... He has so much lady trouble. He better not dig out those books again.

"Jake why did PB want us..."

I interrupted him.

FINN POV
"Finn she's looking at this like your some endangered species. But your not. I think? I'm not sure why she couldn't have waited. PB is being all scientist on us." Jake stretched his arms back and slouched on the wall.

"I'm not sure how I should feel bout this biz." I slouched too. "Should I have any feelings?" I looked at Jake.

"No Finn. You shouldn't. Not until you're married for sure."

"What?"

"Nothing... just be friends with her or something." Jake sighed sadly. "Go home for now. I'm gonna talk some more with PB." Jake stood up and walked down the hallway.

I looked at the door. I wonder how July feels. Should I ask? I facepalmed, no you got slapped for that. I sighed. I have no idea what to do... I'll just go home like Jake said. Girls are wack.

I stood up and walked home. Today was sunny and there were no clouds. I breathed in the fresh air. It's so nice to just walk and get things off your mind.

BMO was asleep when I got home. I waved anyway. Then I walked upstairs to my bed, so I could take a nap. I stared at the ceiling. I should forget about all of this. Hopefully she will too.

JULY POV
I stared at the ceiling. Today had been weird. Why do these... creatures expect me to do that with him.

I'm not dealing with this anymore. I stepped onto my feet. My injured foot stung a little, but I'll survive. I went for the door, locked. What the glob? Why is the door locked. Are they literally treating me like a... a... something bad!

I looked at the little flower in the pot next to my bed. I sighed with relief. At least there's something useful. I raised my hand and my necklace glowed. The flower grew bigger and bigger. I made it collapse the entire wall. Oops...

I shurged and walked outside. Finally! Fresh air! Real air!

I ran and didn't look back. I didn't care for any of these people. Why do they even care about me? Oh my foot... I'm running so it must be ok. I ran to an area of brush and climbed up a tree. I nestled into the crease of the branch and closed my eyes.

FINN POV
"Ughn... uggggghnnnnn... UUHGHHN..." I rolled out of bed and laid on the ground. "I can't sleep." I sighed and crawled to the kitchen to have snacks.

"FINN."

Jake stormed in. "Hi jake..." I said in a mopey voice.

"Finn she's gone."

"Who?"

"July! She's gone."

"So?" I slumped over to the table and nommed on grapes.

"Finn, this is serouis."

"She probably left."

"Or princess-napped!"

"Jake why should we even care?"

"Aw Finn you're getting all bummed. This happens everytime." Jake sighed. "Fine I'll find her myself. Come along when you're not bummed."

Jake left.

I shurged.
