Chapter 3

OC POV

I woke up and looked around. Finn wasn't anywhere, good. What was he even doing? I don't want to know. I walked outside of the room with the blankets covering me. I nearly tripped over Finn's passed out body. He slept here all night? I though he said he lived in that treehouse. Oh well.

I walked down the hallway to snoop around. I looked behind doors. The rooms were mostly empty or had a bunch of junk in them.

I found a small porch that was high in the air outside, so I decided to sit in it. Today was so beautiful.

"Hello."

I turned around and saw the pink one, princess gummyhall?

Maybe...

"I wanted to ask if I could run some further test, to make you're okay." The pink one asked.

"I guess so..." I said unsurely.

She leaded me back to the room where I slept. Then, she stuck some wires on my then took some blood. I winced from the pinch. Why did she even need to do this? I never think through.

FINN POV
I woke up. I must've passed out, because I don't remember falling asleep. Especially outside July's room. I knocked, and the door flung open.

"Finn!"

PB dragged me inside. She had an excited look in her eye.

"What is it PB?" I asked curiously.

"She's human."

I felt my eyes grow and my pupils shrink. A-Another human? This is... I don't even know how to describe my feelings. I looked at July, and she seemed very confused.

"Human?" She cocked her head. "What's that?"

My knees felt week.

"Finn? Are you okay?"

I fell onto my knees. "Yeah PB, I'm just..." I still didn't know how I fully felt. PB came next to me and looked at me. She knew I was shock.

I woke up at the treehouse. Was it a dream? Sigh... I knew it was too good to be true. No way could there be another human. I sat up and saw Jake and PB were talking in the doorway.

"It could save the race..."

"I don't know, PB. It sounds kinda wrong."

"Come on Jake. Let's at least tell him."

I laid back down. What are they talking about?

They both came in.

"Hey buddy... Um me and PB wanna talk to you..." Jake said.

"It's about you and July." PB said with an award smile.

Jake did that awkward chuckle. What is going on?

"Since you and July are humans... and there's no trace of any others.. you two might..."

Jake interrupted PB. "He's too young. I can't handle this man."

"Jake!"

"No PB! When he's older!"

"He's able to..."

"PB stop! I know but he's too young! Just go home!"

PB looked insulted, but she sighed and walked back to her kingdom. I looked at Jake. He looked like he was gonna cry. Why is he all worked up? He sighed and sat on the bed next to me.

"Finn did you understand at all?"

"No Jake I didn't."

"Okay, I just didn't want to talk about it with PB here."

OC POV
"What..." I stared at PB with complete disgust and confusement.

"You and Finn kinda need to have babies."

"You are mad."

"I am not!"

"I still don't know what you mean."

"You and Finn need... Do you even know where babies come from?"

I shook my head no, and she left to get a book. "What's that?" I asked.

"Do you know how to read?"

I nodded. She handed me the book. I read. Oh my lord... She expected me to do this? This is wrong... So wrong... I stared at her. She shurged.

A knock came at the door. It was Finn and Jake.

"Let's them talk." PB and Jake said at the same time. They both walked out chuckling.

Finn and I sat in silence for a long time.

"Hi." Finn said.

I said, "hi."
