~ SPRING BREAKS ~

Twas the week of midterms,

Every student was studying like book worms,

All the students sitting in their classes stressed,

Only wanted to do their very best.

Some failing and crying,

Others passing and flying,

Every student was anticipating spring break,

So they could enjoy some cake.

After a long week of studying,

Students wanted to go swimming.

Some wanted to party at the beach,

Others wanted to sit back, relax, and enjoy a peach.

Spring break was calling the names of all the students,

So they could enjoy each and every moment,

Of the warm and breezy spring weather,

Enjoying break all together.

Students leaving behind the classes they dread,

And the books they've read,

Ready for break to begin,

Smiling with a big grin.

Each student taking the last of exams,

Waiting on all of their spring plans.

The campus is now almost empty,

While the professors sit back and drink some tea.

Everyone is getting impatient,

Waiting for their vacation.

Even professors are counting down the minutes,

For the exams to finish.

Spring is in the air,

A break is only fair,

Midterms are almost over,

The students are about to take over.

The beaches will be crowded,

Taking over by the thousands,

Spring break is finally here,

And all the students start to cheer.

They are all so excited to get a break from school,

All of their energy is ready and fueled,

The students rush out from their classes when they hear the professor say pencils down,

There is not a sight of a frown.

All of the students are ready for some sun,

Everyone just wants to have some fun.

Spring break is in the air,

Everyone is ready for all the fairs.

Running to the beach,

And cannot wait to reach.

Everyones ready for a spring tan,

instead of sitting under the ceiling fan.
