{A/N; I might turn this one into a full story someday if I get the chance, and the energy to do so, its also similar to the end of my book, but even BETTER!}

"You look BEAUTIFUL!" Alya said "A masterpiece, better than DaVinci I'll tell you that!"
I rolled my eyes and saw myself in the mirror, or what was left of me, I looked like a ladybug, I had carefully crafted a mask and ball gown that represent a ladybug since that what the requirements for prom, an animal masquerade.

"Alya, I don't know how you did this, but I think you made me into a real-life ladybug!" She had made my hair into two pigtails, she says are to resemblé the antennas of a real-life one. She also covered my pigtails with two thin red laces,  and where the scrunchies once were, the laces appeared.

"And I haven't even added the mask yet," She said slowly and gently sticking my mask to my face, it was a simple one red with a couple of black dots around it. Slowly she started to do the same with hers, but she was a fox, so hers had orange at the top and white at the bottom. I had carefully designed each, and 3d printed them at school. If I were to say so, they were perfection.

My dress was long, it was puffy and shinny red with black dots around it, the red under part reached the floor, and some transparent black fabric around with a high-low style, the torso had no sleeves, a pair of sneakers for maximum comfort, and some blood-red gloves. Alya had a short orange dress with an orange torso, and some white on the middle of it. she was wearing orange boots, which honestly were to die for, and her hair was parted into a ponytail with strands of hair to her sides, she had temporarily died it, so the ends of her hair were white. And lastly, she had a tail, which looked like a robe and extended to her feet, but not enough to touch the ground.

"Marinette Duapin-Cheng, you have outdone yourself completely this time," I giggled "I will seduce Nino with this outfit no doubt about that!" She said, oh did I forget to mention, Alya and Nino were dating so they were each other's date to the ball, the ball, where the king will get to pick a queen, but with a modern spin on it. This year we're graduating, so all of the schools of paris have gotten together to make this prom unforgettable, most of us won't know each other since they will be more than a million people all packed up in the same room. I never had a date or a boyfriend before, and at the age of 18 I have never had a crush before, ironic since many people have fallen for me including former model Adrien Agreste, but he proved to be nothing more than a pretty face, so I declined him. He will be attending tonight, and hopefully, he had gotten over his feelings for me, considering how crushed he was when I said no, and how bad I felt, but I wanted to be with someone I liked, not just somebody that liked me, no matter if he's a billionaire or not.

"Are we ready to go?" She asked, and I nodded, the place wasn't far from my home so we walked, and DAMN that place was humongous.

"Woah, the place is so big!" I said amazed

"I know, we will need to keep GPS's on each other inside of there," She replied. we both entered and were quickly amazed at how beautifully everything was decorated, the lights that flashed different colors, the music that blasted through the speakers, and all of the people inside wearing masks, unrecognizable. Nino and, Adrien soon joined us.

"Well, you are as attractive as a fox," Nino said as he wrapped his arms around Alya

"H-hello, princess," He stuttered rubbing the back of his neck. Great he still has feelings for me. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a belt as a tail, and a black mask, he also had some fake black cat ear on his hair and green contact lenses. he look ravishing enough to get any girl he wanted with a snap of his fingers, any girl except me.

"Girl, I'm gonna go, before things get more awkward," I whispered

"We'll be at table 23 if you need anything," She whispered back, and I left using the mock of students as a disguise, hoping he'll never find me again, just when I was about to sigh of relief when someone grabbed my hand. No, no, no! I thought to myself when.
