In the 'Coliseum'

The Coliseum, which was built and developed in Cities all around the continent of Zarva was the abridged version of the Colosseums built way back and from The Earth's Roman history.

The seatings were made out of stone and mica on which plump cushions consisting of enough mitigation to rest the spine and the neck were added.

Presently, the coliseum was bustling with students and teachers alike.
Seats were not a problem at all as the number of seats crossed the limit of 10,000.

All of them peered into the figures who stood on the arena floor below them.

.....

The event which was transpiring currently inside the coliseum was just what everyone had been waiting for.

An event which took place every year during the day of the annual festival.

The Annual Battle between the various divisions of the 12th grade!!

One class could select the best three students in the class to fight against the other class representatives.

The battle is executed as a group battle, where a team is made of three students.

"THE BATTLE WE ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!"

"THE BATTLE BETWEEN CLASS 12A AND CLASS 12D WILL BEGIN IN A MINUTE!!"

"LET THE PARTICIPANTS HEAR YOUR CHEERS!!!!"

The anchorperson who sat on his chair outside the battle arena yanked his microphone which was stationed on top of the table and roared into the metal announcer, making the crowd lively and excited yet again.

Currently, on the arena floor were 6 students and two groups who were sizing up each other.

The referee stood in the very middle of the battle arena which was barren and free of any dirt or gravel. The floor was made of concrete and cement but was polished with an extra layer of thin tile. The tiles were white and the lines which singled them out glinted the color black as it distinguished and characterized each of the tile pieces on the arena floor.

The arena floor was considerably enormous, it was more than enough for at least five hundred average human beings to fit in if they line up in five rows, with a count of hundred people per row accordingly, then they would be easily able to stand without touching each other and could abide within an arm's length.

The land outside the elevated and tiled arena floor was off limits for contestants who were supposed to begin their battle soon. It was one of the major rules of the Annual Battle that, if a contestant's body touches any part of the floor outside the arena, they would be immediately disqualified from the match.

"From Class 12A, We have Michael, Jacob, and Vizi"
The commentator yet again spoke into the microphone, but this time announced the names of the students who were about to lock horns.

"From Class 12D, We have Jin, Toby, and Jonathan"

"All six of them are exceptionally talented. Especially the trio from Class 12A. They are in the 'A' class for a reason..."

"But the trio that's facing them are not to be underestimated as well... or I think so..."

The referee raised his hands signaling the entire coliseum of his action. The commentator went motionless and mute as he traced the referee's hand to fall.

The presence inside had grown quiet to an extent that a pin dropping down the floor could have echoed through the entire coliseum.

Everyone, including the fighters, stared at the referee who held his hand towards the sky with an emotionless feature.
