He bent down on his knees and slowly removed the earpiece from Aqua's hold.

"If I'm right then..."
Jin paused as fixed the earpiece to his ear.

"System, alter my voicebox to match that of this hunter's and shut down."
Jin finished his words as the demon's voice greeted him.

[What do you mean? Switch your system off?... If you switch your system off, wouldn't the effect you brought go off?]
The Demon Lord raised his question.

"Nope. The devil is in the details, Delo!. What I said the system to do was to alter my 'voicebox' and not just my 'voice'..."

"The voice box is a physical organ inside me so even if the system went off, the changes brought inside my body won't perish"

[Ah!!. Makes sense... It's my fault for doubting you Kekekek...]

[The voice box of the user has been altered to match that of the voice of Hunter Aqua]

[Switiching off the system as per orders]

[So why switch your system off then?]
The Demon yet again asked a query.

"Wait and Watch"
Jin's voice, which wasn't his voice anymore resembled a feminine voice. Conceivably, it was the voice of the female, who was out cold before him. 

Jin accepted the incoming call from the earpiece as he clicked the accept button.

"Hello Aqua?"
A man's voice greeted Jin from the earpiece.

"Yes, Aqua here... I have lost the Demon Possessed Hunter, but have managed to deal damage"
Jin replied in his feminine voice.

"As per the satellite reports, I don't sense another presence besides yours and Theo's at your location. Could you please specify the direction in which the Demon Possessed Hunter might've escaped?"
The Man's voice was quick and tense.

[Oh!. I get it now!! You switched off your system so that your presence wouldn't appear on the satellite reports... Damn!!]

'Took you long enough!'
Jin replied to the demon with his thoughts.

Now that the Demon was slowly integrating with Jin, the transmission of thoughts between them was possible.

"Yes... I think the target might have escaped to the west of City Bountress."
Jin replied to the voice attending on the other side of the earpiece.

"Alright!. Please meet up with the backup at the school."
The man replied.

[Uhuh... How would you deal with this?]

"Negative. I and Theo have been hit pretty hard. Please dispatch the backup to the mountain behind the school. I worry that I might lose my consciousness in a minute."
Jin replied with a grin.

[Genius! Kekekek]

"Noted. Please hang in there. Backup is being sent"

*Hangs Up*

.....

"Hah! That took a while"
Jin slumped to the ground, his hands spread open.

[Now what are you gonna do?. The backup's coming and you can't switch on your system]
The Demon Lord shrugged.

"Ah... Guess I'm trapped with this voice for the time being."
Jin grinned as he got up.

"But I can assure you that we are safe... at least for now."
Jin began jogging into the woods, avoiding the mountain trail.
