Rowan, Amanda, and Nova laid cuddled up on the couch. After Nova had gotten there, Rowan suggested that they watch the start of the movie again so Nova could see it. T
Throughout most of the movie, Amanda sat on her phone scrolling through Instagram while the other two girls watched the movie closely. Well, neither of them actually paid close attention to the movie, one of them was watching Enola closely and the other watching Tewkesbury. And of course, they both had to take a few glimpses at Sherlock.
Then Amanda finally broke their concentration, "You should DM them."
Nova and Rowan sat up straighter and looked over at her. "Who... them?" Nova said pointing to the tv as the movie played. When Amanda nodded her head Nova pulled her head back in confusion. "Why would we, I mean I guess I understand why Rowan would but-"
"Hey, don't throw me under the bus." Rowan quickly said in defense.
"I'm not, its just your the one who confessed your undying love for Louis, and I'm still getting used to the whole idea of actually being... you know... out there about who I like. And I don't think it would help if the first time I ask a girl out they be unattainable." Nova said in a softer tone.
When she noticed the apologetic look on Amanda's face, Nova knew she didn't mean to push her, so she spoke up again. "Maybe after my first heartbreak, I'll have the courage to go for her. You can help me figure out how to say "I'm gay, are you?" in a smoother, sexier way." ending it with a chuckle while nudging Mandy's arm.
"Anytime" Amanda responded, with a tight-lipped smile on her face.
Rowan thought that this was a more appropriate time to but in. "And I'll help you write a cheesy song for her. We can record it on SoundCloud and everything." Nova smiled and pulled the two girls into a hug, smiles prominent on all their faces. The three girls always knew how to read each other.
Suddenly Nova pulled her face up, "Just because I don't want to DM a hot celebrity doesn't mean you can't Roe. Come on, I know you want to. Remember when you did it to Chris Hemsworth?"
"Yes I do and I never got a reply, which is upsetting." Rowan answered.
"He's like 40 and married with kids." Amanda said.
"And I would make a great step-mom. I would make they world-class boxed macaroni." Rowan said with her chin held high.
"Oh my..." Nova added with a laugh, causing the other two girls to laugh along.
"Fine, I'll send him one DM if you promise to visit me at work on Monday" Rowan said pulling out her phone. After the two girls nodded Rowan went he his account, clicked on the message button, and began typing...
